I'd like to start talking to a shrink, (I've wanted to for years) but I'm a college student so I have no money to spend (and I'd really rather not see one of the school's shrinks). So, If your into psychoanalysis and enjoy a challange, maybe we could do an email thing or you know whatever. Sooooo...

I'm a Psychologist and would love to help.

Although, you really should consider at least occassionally seeing a Psychiatrist or Psychologist in-person. The work is definitely hands-on and we can better control emotional situations in person.

It's not embarassing to see someone at school or in your home town. They are there to help you! No person is 100% free from a psychological issue, we all deal with stress and uncontrollable emotions, sleep problems, etc. at some point in our lives so there is nothing to be ashamed about.

I agree with the last answer. Your college may have a free help program if it has a Psychology or Pre-med program. I got help through such a program in college, and wound up getting a degree in psychology. Computers paid better, so I never went into practice, but I do help out friends on occaision with life's little problems. Real psychosis and other ailments require a real doctor. If you are just feeling down or at a crossroads, go ahead and email one of us. If you get the sense the person is a whack job, move on down the list.
