Ok, so my skin color is as black as an Oklahoma City night and I was getting all sorts of hunger pangs for sum greasy fried chicken. Now peep this, I go there and they don't wanna let me in cause it's supposedly closed for business. I'm tapping on da damn window like some goofy woodpecker trying to garner their little attention and they ignoring yo boy Zippy! All I wanted was some damn red beans and rice with a two piece but they denied me cause of pigment of my soft baby skin. I'm I trippin? or should I file a lawsuit against they fried chicken serving butts?

If I came onto a website and started spouting off some crap about how I was dangerous and a serial killer and blah blah blah and I then went on to say I knew where someone lived would the person have a subconscious "better be careful then" switch despite the fact I would be laughed off the site and rightly so?

I don't know what it is. My sister thinks I inherited it from my mum but I don't know. I don't mind it when I get hugs from my friends, but anything else makes me feel really uncomfortable. My friends mum was stroking my head once, and I really wanted to escape.No-one else seems to feel like that. Its not like I've been abused or something, I'm just the opposite of a touchy feely person. What do you think?

(Substitute "social anxiety disorder" or "shyness" for "social phobia" if you wish.)

I claim this is true: to have a bf/gf, you must have done these things:

- ask someone out on a date.
- been successful on the date.
- ask the someone out for a second date.
- been successful on the second date.
- repeated the above several more times.
- ask the someone to be your bf/gf.
- maintained a committed relationship with your bf/gf for some amount of time.

These things are usually considered to be the activities that require the most social skill and social comfort. Therefore, no person who has a bf/gf, and thus has accomplished these activities, can possibly have social phobia (social anxiety disorder, shyness).

What, if anything, am I missing here?
