Doing some ballet. I love it so much ... it's impossible for anything to drag me down when I'm dancing.

Helping someone else, even if it requires me straining myself past exhaustion.
Or, going to the east end of Long Island, New York. Out there there are many farmstands and beautiful, naturally-occurring views. While there, buy pounds of fruit and sit on the beach near the lighthouse.
Or, if on a rainy day, showering in the rain (swimsuit on =p). Then playing video games.
Thinking about it relaxes and puts a smile back on your face.

1. My family; supportive mother or goofy sibling-- both can help!
2. Strong/positive/calm/relaxing music.
3. If I can, thinking of all the good I have and that I'm probably dramatizing anyway.
4. Watching one of my favorite series/movies/comic books.
5. Lying on my bed, writing out all of my feelings, closing my eyes for a few minutes, end up sleeping, then wake up, look in a mirror and smile my best. : )
Now this last one is really ridiculous, but it's very likely to "pick me up": doing goofy faces in the mirror! I know, I know, it's dumb but it works! I end giggling, doing more, than laughing and immediately be freshed up in my mind. lol.
Hope this answered you! ; )

A really good cry! It releases me and gets rid of all the stress built up for that day. I always feel better after and start to think happy thoughts which bring a smile to my face!

Eating nonstop when I get home, in front of the TV, and also
talking to people on my local singles line. It's free for women.
The nonstop eating has to stop for now thought because I'm
trying to lose weight. If you have cats or dogs, it's fun to play
with them; or play with small kids. That will always put a smile
on your face. Or playing with your big kid (lover.)

A long walk, some focused relaxation, something good/healthy to eat, a couple of brews, and something good/worthwhile on television. Works almost every time.

Easy seeing the one I love has cleaned, made dinner and has a glass of blackeberry wine poured and ready for me when I walk through the door...trust me when I say this the payoff for dessert always makes him go all out.

hearing my baby siblings laugh like there is no problem in the world. they are so innocent and see the world in a pure and uncomplicated light. there smiles can keep me going and see things for what they really are, just another obstacle which can be tackled differently.
