Some people, on answers, may have poorly organized and incoherent personalities evidenced by the form, structure, spelling, punctuation, pluralisms, singularities, inflexions, disassociation, numbness and paralysis, all transparent by what and how they write. These "types" can be vulnerable to the truth and may suffer psychological injury which they disguise by anger.

I read recently that if you grow up in a pessimistic family you will most likely turn into a pessimist.
The example given was:
A kid brings an average grade
Pessimistic family: "Is this all you can get? You should study more but you never study enough, you are lazy. I don't know what to do with you."
Optimistic family: "Can you imagine what would happend if you made your study into a fun thing instead of a chore? Not only you would like doing it but also you would come up with new ideas. That way you could achieve anything and if you need help I'm here."

So I wanted to see if it's true:
Myself: Pessimistic - My Family:Pessimistic

What about you?

If intelligent people are so smart how come they make just as many bad decisions as people who don't have as high an I.Q. Intelligence is mainly the ability to learn and wisdom is the ability to make good decisions.

I was reading about this all girl pop group and how 2 of its members are lesbian, then i hear of another..and another , ..seems alot of them do. I just wonder, are girls becoming lesbian on purpose because they don't try to seperate alittle and have some space, .. always when i see cutesy girls who are friends, they talk so much, spend time together alot, then they start getting curious.....Its kind of like those priests in monasteries, they are just men and remain together...so right there they are making an environment that can turn out gay, and many do because men is all they see and relate to. So i have a feeling girls turn lesbian in many cases because they don't try to avoid the close relationship. I'm a guy and if i'm with guys, i'm going to have some fun doing activities with them, but then i set limits..and bye bye..after a few hours ,i dont' want them to be near me. and many guys work in this way. we don't let things happen, we avoid them.

Sixteen years ago, when I was 16, I had a kind of "affair" with my then step-dad. The feelings were mutal and as far as I know, genuine.I know people look down on this, but my mother was a drunk....my step-dad and I ran the house hold while she was in her room with a bottle. She eventually found out and sent me to live with my grandparents. I have not spoken with him in 16 years. I feel the need to find him and talk to him. I have some questions I'd like to ask him. My husband and a close friend of mine are opposed to this, mostly because I am bipolar and they think it may be too emotional for me to handle. Any advice/opinions?

Or are they blowing smoke to get people to die for their cause. Seems like just about all leaders use "God is on our side." Are they dilusional or psychopathic? It is scary what it takes to be a leader. It does take followers to have a leader.

We all wonder what happens after death.... but has anyone seriously considered what our awareness was prior to birth?... Now have a good think about that one. ; )

I want to call a suicide hotline, but I don't want my parents to find out that I called them. I need one that's confidential and one where the people are really nice.

Strangely, this became a topic of discussion in my abnormal psychology class. I said no because the porn actresses aren't forced into it and they get paid for it, some very well. They've made a decision to accept the social stigma that comes with their job. But I was quickly shouted down by my mostly female class.

Since this discussion occured in a psychology class, I'll put it in psychology here.

I have a psychology project to do where i have to describe how nature (what you are born with) and nurture (what you learn and change) has an affect on temperament, genes, etc. etc. Now we have to make a visual for this project where we bring in items to symbolize what out temperament is naturally and how it has changed. I am bringing in sunglasses for how nature has affected my temperament because i was born a calm and cool kid. the nurture side of this is how our parents reacted with us and how we have changed from what we were given us. I am not as cool as i was before and can get more mad than i did before. Can anyone thing of how i can represent this with one single item??
