I guess it depends on the situation and where you're at! If you are into a quickie where people are close to you, I'd recommend being a little quieter. Sadly, my fiance has had to put his hand over my mouth and of course kiss me because ...well I don't always scream, but there are sounds coming from my mouth.
But, he also loves hearing his name in bed! Too much screaming and moaning, etc. is probably fake. Sometimes those sounds come out of our mouths INVOLUNTARILY! That's when I bite his shoulder!

We should all know that humans have 5 senses Sight, Touch, Smell, Taste, and the one your talking about sense of Sound. I guess some would argue a 6th sense which I guess you could call emotion or the love feeling. Now when your lover can stimulate all of these simultaneously thats someone youd call a "great lover". So conclusively shouting or moaning sounds of pleasure definitely stimulate the sense of Sound, and drawing from my own experience it definitely gets the ball rolling faster if ya catch my drift.

Shouting, huh? Maybe that is a fetish i know nothing about but sheesh the moaning & sheer ecstasy is everything when making love. Oooops i do occasionally moan my own name.

It irritates neighbors, roommates, kids, etc. You should groan under your breath and whisper as loud as you can.
