I was thinking that because of the way my life has turned out at present, what would my life be like now if I had made a different decision then.
The decision I made in the past was instead of going into the army, I opted to go to bible school and just recently found out that it was a cult that I was sucked into! So I spent 33 years in it! I am free of it and picking up the pieces of my life. What's done is done and I am just going forward with my life.

The other thing is that I could have been a hair model.

What other path would you have taken if you had that choice to go back and do so.

im doing a research paper in which the internet is really filtering what we read listen and watch. Here is a little sample of the essay im writing i need a psycologist to give me inthought on my question so my thesis can be strong which is "At the same time however the internet has also accustomed internet users alike to purify and refine what they see on the net by picking and choosing what they hunger to read, listen, and watch. From newspaper articles of their revered authors, songs of their most popular singers and artists, and movies of their beloved actors/actresses; these people are not exposed to others types of genres which are necessary because without it they will never know what the other side is offering. What people do not realize is they are narrowing and isolating themselves into a corner to where they will not communicate with others or intake ideas from them as well; alienation." -Talha Amla

i'm in my early twenties and i dont know what to do with my life. i started going to college two years ago, and i have enjoyed it. but the problem is there is no goal for me with college, you know i dont know what to do with it. i've changed my major multiple times, and i am now a romance language/theatre major. i feel pretty satisfied with my current choice but i dont know what kind of career i will have with this B.A. degree. what i've really been thinking about is massage therapy. i already have a cosmetology "degree" that i got my first year out of high school. but working with those chemicals was really doing a number on me. i really like the idea of being a massage therapist, but i would have to quit school. currently, i'm on academic probation for missing so much to take care of my grandpa who is dying. should i quit college to persue a career in massage therapy? i'm so lost.

Whenever I am exiting a retail store and the security buzzer sounds I tend to keep walking because I know that I didnt steal anything and I have nothing to prove to anyone. But I see so many other people who will just stand there and WAIT for someone to come search their bags. Its one thing if a security guard is right there asking to search your bags but unless someone stops me I keep walking out the door. Even if the clerk is calling me to come back I will only stop if they chase me out to the parking lot.

I read in a book that men often marry women who look like their mothers. The book said that you learn what to like as a baby. The women you are around the most as a child become imprinted into your brain. When you grow up you subconsciously find women who look like them attractive. I want to ask those men who are married if their wives look like their mothers or sisters. This may work the same way for girls too. They may like guys who look like their father or brothers.

Please describe your personality - how you see yourself not necessarily how others would see you. What are your strongest traits? You can use 1 word or 100 words....it's up to you.

Nowadays people seem to be jealous of everyone. Clothes, body, lifestyle. Is it possible to extinguish jealousy in every day life or is it an inbuilt human response to encourage competition?

I myself am TERRIFIED of spiders! its about 4 a.m in NYC and I saw one crawling on the wall while I was listening to some music and I flipped out, I woke up everyone in my house (not cool) and No I can't shake the feeling that there are more. I'm too nervous to go to sleep and I can't for the life of me figure out why people are afraid of spiders. I mean the ones that we have are relativley small and they just hand around, literally. But I am so scared of them, for me personally its all the legs, anything with more than 2 legs thats not a cat or a dog, freaks me out. Is that a reason some of my aracnaphobic out there ahte spiders? Is there an official reason? All opinions are welcome!
