Average IQ of Countries (anything higher is high)

The average IQ in the United States is usually set at 100. Groups within the US score different average IQ's, such as 115 for college grads or 85 for African-Americans. Similarly, average IQ varies from country to country, shown in the 2002 book IQ and the Wealth of Nations (sets Britain at 100):

Hong Kong 107 Korea, South 106 Japan 105 Taiwan 104 Singapore 104 Austria 102 Germany 102 Italy 102 Netherlands 102 Sweden 101 Switzerland 101 Belgium 100 China 100 New Zealand 100 U. Personally, this I.Q. thing is overrated. An IQ test has to be suitably designed for individuals in a certain area so its not biased. U don't expect an African bred youth to grasp the complexities of the hard to express oneselfs English language.

Any where near 140 puts you way above average, less than 1% of the population have an IQ this high.

FYI, James Woods the actor is crazy smart he has an IQ of 180 which comparable with Newton. He scored a perfect 800 on his SAT Verbal and 779 on the math.

It is accepted that a normal person (without any specialities) has 100 IQ, Between 100 - 120 it defines normal person with some abilities (such as music or sports) Between 120 - 145 upper level (high ability in problem solving, quick decision etc...) more than 145 is high intelligence, even genius.
This information is without guarantee. I have heard it from somewhere.

IQ tests seem to be based on mathematical reasoning and very little verbal reasoning. They're just a lot of looking at pictures and putting puzzles together. They're basically just a glorified math test imo.

All higher than Forrest Gump...

Lem(1) told the public having an I.Q.
of 200... but I think this is a p.r.-gag...

More important is the E.Q., I think.
What's a 180-monster worth, if
he has no heart !!!
