I think somewhere in the world there are people who don't get jealous. They are the ones who can be truly happy for the successes of others. I haven't met any yet though. Actually, I've never seen my husband get jealous, so maybe he's one of those people. Someone else can get something that he truly wants, like a promotion, or a certain card or coin he's been wanting for his collection, and he'll actually be excited for the other person. I try to be happy for others, but I have to admit that sometimes I feel jealous.

How do come to want things, things other than we need for basic survival? Do we dream them up in our personal vaccum? No. We grow to want things by seeing others with them. By seeing the things that enhance other's lives and produce enjoyment for them, we learn to want the same things. Humans are singularly unique yet have very similar desires. Jealousy is a basic component of ambition, aspiration and self-improvement. Without it, we really wouldn't know what to want, other than food, water, shelter and sex. Not having a jealous bone in your body would make you spineless and apathetic, which is bad from where I sit. Jealousy has a negative connotation, but even the human traits that are percieved negatively exist because they have a function.

well, human bodies technically don't have a bone named jealous at all and that would be a good sign.
emotionally speaking, being not jealous is a bad sign since you're denying the fact that you do feel jealousy to an extent yet you don't acknowledge it which means your just insecure about yourself.
every person has had their own "jealousy stages" after all.

Ohh..if possible...i would love not to have it in my body. Can i remove it? Jealousy sometimes killing me. I get jealous very easily. I hate that but I just can't control it. I tried so many times but failed. The only time I don't get jealous is when I don't care. So I guess if people don't get jealous that's because they don't care. Jealous (to certain limit) means care & love. So if you don't get jealous means you don't care.

I don't think it's possible. Even the most unemotional people will be jealous about something; a neighbor's new car or the one who has the bigger diamond ring.
Always something.

Bones do not experience jealousy. However, since jealousy stems from insecurity, yes it IS possible and normal to not feel jealousy if you are secure in your relationship and yourself. Good for you!
