Evolutionary Psychology has proven that certain individuals need sunlight to be able to be happy. This is the reason why some people get seasonable depressions in the winter. A common solution to this is to buy a special lamb that gives them sun-like light to keep them from their mood. Therefore, weather enhances good and bad mood.

Many studies have been done on this.....

My own experience after several days of rain or cloudiness, I am ready to crawl the walls...

Also right around February / March I start getting antsy for the longer days, warmer weather and MORE SUN LIGHT...

I love a rainy night listening to the rain hit the roof while I am all snug and warm inside, but I want to see Mr. Sun the next day......

I love the sun....but not in my eyes...

Just gloomy days present gloomy moods. It all depends on the individual however. I love the sun, and hate lots of gloomy, overcast days. However, I can put myself in a better mood by sewing, and doing indoor things too. I guess people who are going to commit suicide would be affected, but seems like if they were that depressed, it wouldn't matter where they were or the day.

aw l-oxx, bad weather enhances a person's mood it doesn't reflect it.The weather hasn't got the ability to pick up on what i am feeling however glum weather can influence what i feel. Scandinavian countries have higher rates of suicides imma don't forget that there are hidden underlying correlations and causations. Suck on it hehee

Well currently I am sick, yesterday the weather was all cloudy and stormy and stuff, but today its sunny. Yesterday the weather really made me even worse, today i'm more cheery. This weather stuff is used in movies too to show the atmosphere, if to show someone is down they use stormy weather, to show happiness they use sunny weather.
