I am looking for information on Adult ADHD/ADD and (low income) treatment for it in Las Vegas, NV. I have tried Clark County Mental Health, who referred me to a clinic research program, but the person was 10 pound under the weight requirement to qualify for the study. How do people who need help get it if the don't have big $$$s?

How can I understand her? She is a very nice lady, hardworking and good-natured. But I am always annoyed when I feel like she's forever waiting for my commands and questions. I don't know if I'm too controlling or she's too passive, because sometimes she's not passive at all, especially with her own friends. Is there some psychological patterns you see here? Is it my problem or hers? What specific steps can we take to solve the problem? Cos I'm really frustrated.

I have Paul McKenna's book and cd course called instant confidence as I am a little on the shy side however I find I cannot relax sufficiently when I am listening to the cd.

I find his book very useful and it has helped however I feel I would get even better results if I were able to use the cd that comes with the book.

Are there any techniques anbody knows where I could put myself under and then listen to his cd.

So many people I know have fallen into habit, and the idea of anything different is so scary some develop paranoia, anxiety disorders or psychosis. I want to know where that fear lies. What's so bad about not knowing what will happen next?

What makes 'change' and 'the unknown' such terrifying possibilities?

I used to be so shy I could barely talk to people and I had no friends. But then last year I had 3 roommates who really helped me out and make me more confident and that really helped. So sometimes I am really confident but like once a week for a day I'll feel really self conscious and its hard to talk to people. I noticed it always happens after I get annoyed by something, like I spilled something on my shirt or someone gives me a wierd look and then I'll feel depressed all day. How do I get rid of this?

You have to be signed in to see it. (I don't know why he's hiding it.) You might even have to have a 360 just to see it. And you have to be able to see explicit content to see it. If you see the one about the view, that's not it. That guy thinks incest should be legal and wrote a blog about it.

Okay, so I heard a story today about Hitler and the power of the human mind. Hitler and his regime conducted a test that measure the power of the mind by using the threat of death. He got 10 people in a room. They were told that they will all die from snake poison. The first person was bitten by a snake and died an hour later. The first five people got the same treatment. The last five were blindfolded and were told that they will die from the snake bite next. However, instead of the snake biting them they were poked by two nails or something. So, they died thinking that they were poisoned and will follow the same fate as the first five. An intersting story that shows that the human mind is very powerful and can control our biological functions. Has anyone heard this story?

Not an easy answer to discover, perhaps, but probably important to know relative to whether it is ones brain or ones MIND that one is soliciting for the answer.
