not all USBs have password protection..
there are biometric USB drives that can ONLY be accessed when provided the owner's fingerprints
then there are password-protected usbs that also have in-built virus protection and firewall... (look for Kingston DataTraveller II Elite)

what i do is using an encription program to put passwords and disguise/hide my secret files/folder

you can go to download.com and find the most suitable software for you. Personally, i use truecrypt
