First of all, A Pedophile has committed a crime, having sexual relations with a child is legally and morally wrong.

The point of living is to ask for the forgiveness and the wrong that this person has committed, and then changing his aggression towards children and taking the responsibility for what he has done.

My Father is a Pedophile, and though he made some bad choices and mistakes in his Past, he does still have a right to Life, you must take responsibility for your own Life, and with whatever happened to you as a child, you can't waste any Energy blaming someone else for your actions.

Same goes for the Pedophile, a Drug Abuser, A Thief, A Murderer, etc...making decisions in your Life based on how you were treated as a child is an excuse not to take responsibility for your action today.

That's like saying: "What's the point of letting a molested child live also because they will grow up and become one" Two wrongs don't make a right. You should study more psychology and statistics and less defeatist attitudes.Many children might just be more traumatized at how people overreact. Many females have instigated relations and were unable to stop it or say no.Our prison system is overwhelmed with victims/perpetrators at what point will Nazi type exterminations heel or rid the world of these people? Therapy properly used can have positive results. Your friend needs therapy not just a cell mate. Many of these people might just come out of prison worse than when they went in. Our society has it's double standards but logic dictates logical answers not fanatical ones. Recognizing the problem is a first step. Maybe your friend was just testing your reaction to see your opinion or if you were ever molested. Childhood traumas aren't always sexually based. Repressed memories can cause many mental health issues that can include reenacting the moments like a recording. "Help me Obe One Canobe you're my only hope." Is there something rotten in Denmark?

Childhood traumas might start long before they were even born. Our society is hurting and has some strange or usual ways of self medicating and or rebelling. Psychology can open many doors and windows to let the light and some fresh air in. Some things children/adults lock away because they don't know how to cope. There is the domino theory to think about in the "Blame Game" also. What's the point of asking a question if you don't want a positive answer? The History Channel had done an interesting Biography documentary on Abraham Lincoln and his mental illness. It only gave me more respect for him.

Some people are born into the wrong paradigm. They have no point to exist now. The Psychopath is the war hero. In times of peace he is an outcast. A pedophile may have had a function long ago but with so many people on Earth he is now redundant. Simply Change, Adapt or Die.

There's always a value to human life. However, from a psychological standpoint (meaning the state of scientific understanding to this point) it does seem that some men are predisposed to be pedophiles (be it nature, or some sort of conditioning or whatever). Honestly, for true pedophiles it's a sad state of affairs because there's not a lot that science can do at this point to make them not attracted to children (short of chemical castration). Presumably in the future we will be able to fix them so that they will be attracted to adults. In the mean-time your cousin needs to get professional help. It is so damaging to children to be molested, and he needs to be restrained because if he truly is a pedophile, eventually he will attack a child, and that is (most obviously!) completely unacceptable. Tell him to get help ASAP!

If there is no point in living now, wait till you have actually had some kind of perverted contact with a child. Thank God you have a conscience. You can be delivered from this now, just get alone a talk to God. You don't want to hurt an Innocent child, and rob them of their innocence. Don't put the light out that is in a child eyes.
Get help for yourself. Nothing is impossible with God.

if you have not done anything than your not a pedophile. Seek counseling and help before he becomes one. There are meds that will make him not want to. Wish him luck and help him get the help he needs discreetly. :-)
