I have sex. That always relaxes me and takes my mind away from the stresses of my day. LOL

Rise above the MIND via meditation until one begins to Know the difference between illusion and Reality. The time required to achieve this varies with individuals.... but generally, it takes between ten years and a lifetime.

Peace is what everyone seeks, and it does not exist on the physical plane of existence. Therefore, one must seek it where it exists, and that is within ones Apapsyche, or the Operational Energy of ones Soul. The lower reaches of which can be experienced just as soon as one is able to still the MIND, even for an instant. In that instant one intuits sufficient Esoteric Knowledge to begin to alter ones view of life... which means, one begins to "see" the illusion in life, and once seen, one can begin to dissociate or detach from it emotionally, the result of which is the beginnings of peace.

I study American Civil War medicine and then go out with my pards and we re-enact battles and events from that war. I'm the Regimental Surgeon in our unit. Sometimes, when I've REALLY had a bad day, I change uniforms and go work on a cannon crew. We have a beautiful selection of guns, from a twelve-pounder brass Napoleon to a twenty-pounder Parrot Rifle. We touch off that Parrot and the ground rocks! Get out LOTS of angst that way, yo!

SLEEP! Seriously, at the end of a long, stressful day, I may read a little, but then I have to cover up my head and just go to sleep. I have to escape to dreamland for awhile. Oh, and also Yahoo Answers is such a stress reliever! Flipping the channels mindlessly also helps.

Ok I work 2 jobs, so I know what stress is and this is what always helps me whenever I get the chance to do it. Take a nice long bubble bath w/ scented oils, a candle or two and my fav. salsa CD. Or my next fav. thing to do it pamper myself like maybe go to a SPA and get a massage or a facial. Last but not least, is just go to the mall w/ friends or to the movies. But shopping always does it for me.

And ofcourse, SEX!!! hot, steamy, sweaty, wild sex relaxes your mind off of anything. ♥

Hope I helped =)

I sit outside on the porch (or walk around in the yard) and listen to the sounds and look at the natural world ( birds, bees, ants, grasshoppers, the sky, the sounds the trees make when the wind blows)... or sometimes I just play frisbee with the dog.

Watching something entertaining or informative on Cable so I can have a calmer perspective on issues or save them up for the therapist. It helps to eat healthy too. If only I would take my own advice though. I used to go for long walks which seemed to help. Just make sure it's safe to do so.

I think about the nature of reality and the futility of existence. I listen to Mozart's 7th symphony while sipping chai tea lattes. I study quantum physics. I play the piano. I dream of being extremely financially wealthy. I ignore the world.

Listen to pretty or uplifting music, get some poutpourri or a potpourri tart going to get the house smelling really good. and/or go get some fresh air.

Also, put all the worries out of my mind and find some good television (preferably a sitcome or good news program) or, more recently, go to Yahoo Answers site and get my mind on other people's concerns.
