i have a daughter with depression, anger, and body image issues. she also had a drug problem awhile back. our family has history of these meantal problems and more. is there any questions i should ask a theripist to pick the right one for her?

when i'm watching her she's a angel but when she's with her parents she's always barking at them and ordering them around.her parents tell me she's spoiled by her grandparents but i'm not so sure.

I am doing a social psychology course and for an assignment I have to discuss the proposition that everything is relative in social psychology. I get the gist of how disparate perspectives can be interrelated using trimodal theory but cannot understand what it has to do with the realism versus relativism debate.

I just finally found someone else who shares this, so now there are at least 2 of us and our phobia deserves a label. It's an intense fear and hatred of wiggly food (jello, most pasta, gummy candy.) and is mostly linked to a fear of throwing up, alone or at a social occasion. It's not sitophobia, because that's just a fear of food in general. And I actually love angel hair pasta as long as I can wind it around a fork several times and thus completely immobilize it. My friend suggested pastaphobia, but maybe you can do better.

This is for my psychological thriller, (this is the essential part to make it psychological), when I have this master serial art thief have the power to have women bend to his will, like getting into their thoughts and dreams through their subconscious, to have sex with him or fall in love with him, etc. If there's a term for this, what's it called and how is it defined. my doctor put me on prozac, and i am scared to death, i have heard soooo many bad things about it. But my doctor told me to trust her,I know that everone is different, but i am still scared. i was on lexapro it was working really good for me, except for the fact that i was always depressed in the mornings up till 3pm or so. yesterday was my last day of lexapro and last night i took my first prozac, my doctor also has me on a small amout of seroquil for sleep and alprazolam for anxiety sice day one. i do feel differernt today, my question is what is prozac suppose to make you feel? please i want to know if i am feeling is right.
i feel like i just want to craw in bed and sleep all day, but at the same time i feel like. I have a whatever feeling inside of me. it's like I want to say whatever about everything, i don't feel like taking care of my responabilities but i know that i have too. have u ever been on prozac and what does it make u feel like? thank u , i'm just scared

I can be guilty of this myself, at times, but I want to know where this rudeness come from in others. My rudeness comes from not being able to control my environment when I was a teen. I couldn't tell my aunt not to hurt me or I'd get abused even worse then I was.

Someone has written a book about the "god gene" and he explains that the people who believe there's a God tend to have the presence of a specific gene in DNA analysis. Does this explain why people tend to believe in God? (Don't grill me on this. I believe there's a God no matter what my DNA analysis indicates.)

It is very commonly said by many people that genes are responsible for a person's BEHAVIOR (not talking physical characteristics here). Do genes CAUSE human behavior?
