Her tears would swell up each time she began to think of it, and when asked she would recall the scene about a small girl crying while looking for her missing parents in the middle of a village devasted by volcanic eruption. I tried to console her saying that it was only a movie and that she should be happy to have a loving and close-knitted family.
While it was kind of her to have feelings of compassion, I am concerned that she might be experiencing some sort of mental trauma after watching the compelling scenes.

Overtime, she might get over it but I dread to think the psycological impact on the ong term. This apart, she is a perfectly normal kid. Any advice?

I have self awareness, i can feel everything around me and predict it
what seems so normal to me , as i just found out seems impossible to you, ok here's an example " you know something is right in a population of 3 million, but 2,999,99 say that you are wrong" then dont feel CRAZY? like u are living in a diffirerent dimesion? i just discoverd that, but before i didnt know that it was only me ,or is it?
i feel like i'm living in another dimension but my boudyy is in the human dimension and i used to live so diffrently where i used to talk with others rather than think so much. like i never to talked to myself, but i talk to myself and other dimensions and it seems so crazy when i look back like two diffirent people. it;s too hard to explain as my brain can not exceed it's owen limits.

The term, "ProChoice," is an excellent example of George Orwell's "doublespeak."

After all, who could be against a term like ProChoice?

What do you think?

I heard that it's been scientifically proven that when you are thinking hard about something or about what you are going to say next, the location you look (one of seven I heard) determines something about you. Like, if you look down and to the right it means you are emotionally driven because the area of the eye or brain or something is connected to that same area of the brain . . . anyone know what I'm talking about and where I can find out more? Because I don't look to the lower right, and I'm curious about what where I look when i think has to say about me. Thanks.
ps- if anything didn't make sense - it's b/c i've been running w/o much sleep. :D

We live in New York City, and they seem to be everywhere after dark. Every time she sees one, which is almost daily, she panics. I try to reassure her that they aren't in her apartment, but I can't imagine how much she would panic if one did turn up - they're all around the alleys outside, and it wouldn't really surprise me. Anyway, does anyone have any suggestions? A good book that might help? Right now I just try to calm her down and tell her that she's bigger than them, and they can't hurt her, but I don't know how much it helps. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Does it just mean being a female? Or does it just mean being sensitive about things? Does it mean you get your feelings hurt very easily? I get my feelings hurt too easily, and I dont really like hanging around with guys. I like being with girls mostly. But I am happily married and have been for almost 7 years. I just don't understand why I feel like I can't talk or act like other guys, and that I can't really indentify with them. Im not gay at all. And I'm not unhappy with who I am, I just feel out of place a lot of times.

I did some extra work for a co-worker. He was the one who offered to pay me for it, I didn't ask to be compensated. I feel as if my helpful nature has been taken advantage of. I have not made much of an issue about it because I thought maybe he was hard up for money. Then I learned he was going on vacation with his wife and 2 kids...to Hawaii! So I wrote him an email and told him I would not be doing anthing else for him until he paid me wht he owes. Here's the kicker! His response was rude and demeaning. He told me that he was insulted by the insinuation that he would not pay and offered to fedex it to me if I was that hard up. I don't want to have an uncomfortable work environment...I love my job and most of the people I work with ;}. He made me feel like a beggar with my handout. I let him know that It made me uncomrtable to be put in the position to have to ask for it. Someone please give me some perspective, Now I'm the one who is both insulted and degraded. How do I handle this?
