No, not crazy.

The fact that lifeforms on this earth are so fragile make it difficult to believe that we are the result of a single cell animal that one day crawled out of the ocean.

Look at the food chain, or delicate ecosystems. Look at how all life is tied to other life. Look at how complex the human body is and try to convince a logical person that you are the result of primordial ooze.

When all of these things are considered, along with the size, distance and angle of the Earth are just right to support human life and I DO believe in God.

People don't like to hear this, because they don't want to be held accountable for their actions or believe there is a God. I'll prove my point. Watch for all of the "thumbs down" I get for this response. What you have is people in denial.

The fear of unknown persuades to somehow hurry up and judge a thing. Religion comes in handy because of readily available blind believers.
And majority gives a sense of security.
Mostly, logic is the victim ! And scientific temper when killed, remains un-attended for want of victim's corpse, the scientific temper vanishes (please view figuratively only )!
When the need exceeds logic, there is an urge to deepen the level of perception beyond sense organs ! It is not being crazy !
Ok, it looks crazy to the logical mind, simply because, the mind has limitations, to perceive ONLY inputs through sense organs !

why:
Well, not all humans do this. Read Asimov's fine essay on being atheist - or Carl Sagan's thoughts on being agnostic.

why:
Well, maybe there IS a god. many of the mystics say there is.

More Difficult to say if we the humans nailed the only god to a tree. or to say that iff there exists a god that this god did not show up in other places. Now that is harder to believe.

crazy?
na. Sounds mostly normal. It really bugs me when there are things that defy logic and rational thought - but they happen - and one would want an answer.

For better or worse we are not "Spock"
