You find nothing to do about ourselves in these situations ?
Then check up calmly, perhaps, it is the expectations from within that is the culprit !
We can't possibly change the situation outside. So the only choice is to recognise the possibility with oneself !
Start enjoying things consciously, giving yourself a real credible reason, that what cannot be cured has to be endured. Why miss the fun of it, just because some unrealistic expectation has curled up inside us snugly/stubbornly ?
Try and experiment, living a while , throwing out this expectations, telling yourself, no matter what happens, I am going to give a try at enjoying it whichever way things happen.

I'm going through some stressful times too. I suggest you spend some "me" time & be careful on who you call a friend, because alot of people are fake. Find a job that will keep your mind off of them things & you'll find yourself happier because you're making money. Those friends that stab you in the back are probably a lil jealous of you & when they see you're making money they'll hate. Death must be easy, beacuse life is hard, that's what makes it so stressful. Go on a lil vacation, get a massage, & just spend some time with yourself. It gives you some time to think about better things. Focus on the greater things in life, because what they say shouldn't hurt your feelings. People talk the talk, but don't walk the walk. Be the bigger man & walk away from the little things that bother you, because you know you're better than that.

You are responsible for your stressful life. From your statement it seems that you take others also into considerations. When you select a friend you are pessimistic that he will stab you at the back.Even a small misunderstanding with your friend may spoil the whole relationship.Solution to this is,Don't expect anything from others-half of the stress will go.Keep helping, remember this 'When you see someone without a smile give one of yours'.
You came alone and You will go alone, the stage in between has a drama which becomes an action, thriller, comedy drama depending upon your direction and acting.

Okay, you HAVE choices! I agree that a lot of these things are stress producing, but you can choose to simplify your life. I sold my car because I didn't want the stress package that comes with it-like the expense-insurance, gas, tickets, traffic, police, etc.
And don't say it is impossible to live without a car because I have made the choice not to and I live in THE CITY of cars! As for the other things you mentioned, again it is choices. And in order to be in a "decent" relationship with another, you have to have a decent relationship with yourself. I could go on and on, but bottomline, you have choices-make the less stressful ones and it will follow that life will not be as stressful. A shift of perception would help too.

You can only do what you can do! There is someone out there that is much worse off than you. Everyone has a long list of issues/problems - it's up to you how you face them. Yes it is worth it - days when you're feeling like this (even if it's every day - been there!) remind yourself of what IS good in your life, even the smallest thing. I could list a tonne of issues (mortgage-car/single-parent/bill collectors(power-water-phone-cable-insurance-etc) /parking-speeding tickets/few groceries/my kids dad just died suddenly) but thru all this I have my health, healthy-smart children, even though I work my *** off - I have a job... sometimes we all feel empty, but it's how we choose to face today that brings a better tomorrow.

Sounds like a pre-suicide, careful. Life is great for me!

Mad parking tickets, stop doing things that get you tickets.
Relationship, Don't worry, I don't think that I'll ever get much luck either. There is more to life than love.
Bad friends, I can tell you that they aren't Christian. Go to a good church and make friends there, the average school is a psycho house compaired to my church. at least the people at my church are friendly psychos.
Better yourself, get a fun job to occupy your time, find good hobbies, get GOOD friends, and being Christian helps.

Maybe you are looking at things on the actual view where everything which came in as negative is negative and vice versa. You could take in things in a more positive point of view where all the hardship will serves as a challenge in life, just gotta take in and face it.

a countering question...is anything that is very easy to do or to get really worth doing or having?hardly ever.it is the perception of overcoming obstacles that gives the sense of achievement and, eventually confidence, which is the fuel of our ego trips, and face it ,conscious existence is fundamentally an ego trip.
