Respect and Disrespect are earned attributes. The peron with nither deserves no respect at least and untill that person earns and then deserves either.
It is better to have been disrespected than not to have been at all. I think. That aint a way to be, but being is better than NOT.

Everyone deserves respect until they do something to lose that...

..then it is a judgement call as to whether disrespect is appropriate... I feel that they would deserve pity!!

Disrespect is a negative and ultimately destructive approach.

No, they are not worth any of your time. They do not deserve for you to spend any form of your time or energy. Thats worse than disrespect sometimes, depending on how close you were with them.

Yes sometimes, if they have done something that you find offensive, and that does'nt acknowledge the respect that you expect from other people then yes. I think if someone did'nt have any respect for me for who I was then I would certainly disrespect them.

No. People come from different background and culture, we do not know what kind of upbringing they had or what's the state of their environment. So if I know the better I will give it or I prefer to walk away. Many times these said people learn from the bigger person.

No, anybody worthwhile being with is worth your outmost appreciation. Being interested in people, not complaining, condoning or criticising are some of the basic principles in Dale Carnegies teachings of fundamental skills of handeling people.
