I often dream that people who very recently have died are alive again by some miracle, and the feeling I have from these dreams include intense relief and a break from grief. I also have dreamed that people and even pets who are seriously ill are suddenly cured. Naturally, I hate waking up and getting jolted back to reality, but maybe our minds protect us by giving us a kind of "time out" from continuous worry and severe emotional pain. Could that be some part of what you are experiencing?

This is part of the grieving process as well. They are always on your mind and you take that with you to bed as well. You miss them and want them around. My father died last year and I dream about him being alive all the time.

I believe that when you sleep your spirit leaves your body briefly as if you were going to the other side. That position makes you more likely to meet the people in your life who have passed over.
