Change is the nature of things as it is self-evident that nothing in this living universe stands still.

And, more complex things evolve from simpler things as the more complex 'comes out' of that which is simpler. Examples: your mind comes out of the electrochemical activity of your brain; and, you didn't come into this world - you literally 'came out' of it.

Once you are clear that intelligent orderly change is the the irrefutable nature of things - then wisdom dictates that you align your activities with the intelligence/order that is already unfolding.

The practice of aligning your energies with the intelligence that is already unfolding/changing is called Yoga.

There are many different forms of yoga yet each acknowledges breathing as the most fundamental current of life.

Breathing is the means whereby you directly connect with the orderly unfolding of universal intelligence.

If you try to control and change the activity of vital organs like your liver, pancreas and spleen you see that you do not have a direct means to regulate these things; yet you can and do have a direct impact of your breathing (simply observing your breathing changes it).

Breathing is the link between your body and your mind. Breathing is more subtle than your body and more gross than your mind.

Lastly, breathing is the central current of your life. Thus you have the means to control the fabric of life itself when you truly understand the simple process of releasing and welcoming a quiet breath (hint it is more than just respiration).

May You be Richly Blessed,
James

The human mind can change and does change with each one of lifes events. It can be a visual.a physical.an audio event that changes the mind.
Example; Lets say once I was a trusting person and found only joy and goodness in all things ,then an event took place, lets say a stalking happened. Day and night I now find my self frightened not trusting anyone or even my own self. My hearing is better and now I,ve started to think i see things that are not there and I can,t sleep so I,m exhausted and don,t think clearly anylonger and now my blood preasure is higher because I,m stressed so terriably and now I can,t sleep because Im so stressed and frightened I,ve started to have seizures and because of all of this I think differntly about the things in life and now my chemical make-up in my brain is different--------
How can a human mind change you ask ---so very easily I answer.

To ask this question one has to have a view of the MIND that is not reasonable.

Have any idea what the MIND is? The individual MIND is an aspect of the universal MIND, which administrates the Causal plane of existence, the Astral plane of existence, and the entire physical plane of existeence.

To ask about changing the MIND is like asking whether or not pouring a thimble of wine into the pacific ocean will make it taste like alcohol?

There are many ways in which the human mind can change. One good example is of those who go blind or deaf. They substitute one pathway for another to accomodate. In this example, a blind man might have very acute hearing or a great sense of touch that without his blindness he could not experience. The mind also changes with information that we receive. Our mind stores the information and helps us to make decisions in the future.
