I shall masticate on this one!!! lol

I suffer from an inablility to "switch off" ... which manifests itself as chronic insomnia. Sometimes by thinking of something else - a mundane task, for example; I can come up with the answer to a cryptic crossword clue from a week previous...

So.. giving your brain a rest can work.... especially when you "can't see the wood for the trees".

If you were ruminating, then it would be your stomach (or one of them) that you need to rest.
