If someone is malicious,is it better to assume they've been hurt in the past and give them kindness,or would it do the gosip more good to get tough on that person.Anyone had an experience like this---it's totally malicious,I've realised that since I started working somewhere new, vicious gossip whish has no factual basis has been circulating about me.Please help me out here as I'm a man and I don't want to be seen to be a bully(the person doing the damage is a woman).

I have always taken pride in my ability to balance both sides of my personality .
I am good and evil .I accept this as part of my make up .
but Im loosing today , My negative side is strong , my positve side is sick . It cannot compete . I would tell you more but its too hard right now .
Please understand due to my psyche , nothing personal religion will not help , it is not the means to my plight .
ineed to get a hold of myself . I probably know what I have to do , but I am to self indulged to listen to my own consience .
Help if you can .

Someone once told me that I would never be in love unless I made some major personality changes. Maybe she said that because I am not very emotional or trusting. I admit, I've never been in love and usually prefer to follow my head than my heart. That blind, possessive and irrational form of love that some people covet isn't desirable to me.

I'm not an insecure person, but when someone says something like that to you, it makes you think about yourself. What do you think? Are some types of people simply excluded from love?

Ever since childhood, my sister, who is 2 1/2 years older than me, has been bossy, condescending, always saying I am wrong, and the other person is right, irregardless of the truth. She is one of the most ungrateful people I know toward me, but nice to other people. I do SO MUCH to help her, but she NEVER says thank you. I even help her financially if she needs it, but stilll no thank you. We are not kids anymore, she is 57 and I am 54. I was a well-respected school teacher, and am very financial secure compared to her. I know she resents my retirement with a full pension. But why has she been this way for her ENTIRE life? Does she have some deeply rooted psychological problem, or am I the problem? I try my best to treat her with love and respect, but it's getting hard to do so. She keeps telling me that I'm the problem, not her. What is going on? Will she ever stop acting like a 15 year old brat? Any suggestions on what I should/could do? Why do you think she acts this way?

What do you make of an unprincipled coward who refuses to make a stand -- or even take a position -- in virtually every aspect of his sad existence? This is a "man" who allows others to walk all over him, happily taking orders and otherwise bowing and scraping his way through life. This same person is a confirmed fence-sitter, always remaining out of any debates or disagreements no matter what might be at stake.

Depending on what you make of our subject, consider this bizarre turn of events. This same craven individual recently saw fit to hop off his "safe and secure" fence only to attack one who had been his friend. It was the quintessential stab in the back, both unexpected and unprovoked. Now, what would be this worm's motivation in choosing to stab a trusted friend in the back? Was it because he felt comparatively safe in attacking an unwary friend rather than confronting a dangerous foe? What is the psychology behind such a vile act? Feelings of inadequacy? Passive-Aggressive?

You know what I mean? You're trying really hard at something - whether it be a video game, playing the guitar, or driving. Then that little tongue unconsciously pops out and usually points UP (Like Charlie Brown).
Or....what other unconscious behaviour do you exhibit when you are concentrating?

OK, I met a guy on line 6 months ago. He asked for my photos and has got them, but he asked me not to ask for his. We started having sex talk about a month ago, and he started it first. He asked me detailed questions about those guys who tried to have sex with me. When I tried to ask him about his sexual experiences, he told me he didn't want to answer. He told me he's very experienced, but I kind of doubt it. I asked what he was afraid of, he simply said, "much afraid..." He just said that!!! Now he knows how I look and stays in touch with me, so I guess he doesn't find me TOO ugly to not write me. But I don't know what he's afraid of, rejection or what? He told me more than once that he'd prefer me to IMAGINE how he looks rather than giving me his photos OR telling me how he looks. I really don't understand this guy, could you please tell me what you think he's afraid of. Your input is greatly appreciate. Thanks a lot. p.s. I'm a straight woman, and he's a straight guy.

Some ?s to ponder while I am away....
Why can a pizza get to your house faster than an ambulance?
Why are they called apartments when they are all stuck together?
If flying is so safe, why do they call the airport the terminal?
Isn't it scary that doctors call what they do "practice"?
Why is "abbreviation" such a long word?
If you try to fail and succeed, which have you done?
I will leave you to ponder...

OK.. situation, this dog is a rescue, she's a pup, and has the ability to GROW! She is of a batch of pups I was volunteered to give away, and I gave them all away, BUT this one. She has a hurt leg that needs attention, she needs to be spayed, and all of the other vet things that comes along with a new pet.

We have 3 dogs, we don't need this new one, but it is abandoned by my Great Aunt that was placed in a nursing facility. My Great Aunt cried that she couldn't have her pets, she wanted to keep ONE. Since this one hasn't left yet, should I keep it?

How do I convince the hubby?
