OK.. situation, this dog is a rescue, she's a pup, and has the ability to GROW! She is of a batch of pups I was volunteered to give away, and I gave them all away, BUT this one. She has a hurt leg that needs attention, she needs to be spayed, and all of the other vet things that comes along with a new pet.

We have 3 dogs, we don't need this new one, but it is abandoned by my Great Aunt that was placed in a nursing facility. My Great Aunt cried that she couldn't have her pets, she wanted to keep ONE. Since this one hasn't left yet, should I keep it?

How do I convince the hubby?

Well, if he's really against it, it isn't fair to him, or the animal, to bring a pet into a house where they aren't truly wanted. The dog will sense this, which could cause some behaviour problems, and your husband may grow some resentment towards the animal, and maybe towards you as well. If you can convince him, so that he truly wants another pet however, that's different. As for the best way to convince him, you would know better than anyone what would work, as he is your husband ;) Good luck.

I also have a lovevird and he's important yet desires various interest and takes greater time for training. i think of the main suitable starter poultry may be a cockatiel. My pal has one and he's so candy. They learn quickly and restoration to you fairly early on. The each and on a daily basis household projects contain feeding them seed, pellets and different nutritious issues like vegetables and fruit. you will could desire to alter the water a minimum of two circumstances an afternoon to make specific that there's no bacteria interior the water dish. cleansing the cage each and every 2 weeks has worked nicely for me regardless of the reality that some might recommend as quickly as a week. you will desire to spend it sluggish with your new poultry on a daily basis practising step united statesand whistles. the cost for a cage, poultry, nutrition and toys would be around $one hundred fifty - $3 hundred finding on the place you get it. make specific the poultry you p.c.. is wholesome and satisfied. If the feathers at the instant are not finding extreme high quality then the poultry could be a touch depressed or not have been cared for o.k. on the puppy save. carry the poultry and see if there's a connection in the previous you only p.c.. one. desire you come across a great puppy!

I don't think you should try to convince him at all. The two of you are a family and you should not make decisions like this just on your own. You already have 3 dogs. Can you really care for another pet, especially when your husband is dead set against it and probably won't help out? Think about what's best for the animal. I think you should try to find a good home for it, where it will be loved by both his new parents.

I got an offer of a free female sun conure and I have a male sun conure. My lady said no that she did not want a third bird being we have a Tiel too. I would love to have a mate for my little guy and have some baby conures too. If nothing elseI could sell them but she said no and I have to go along with it. I can get rid of her or not take the bird.

So I did not take the bird. This don't mean that she will always be around but for the minute if either of us says no that is the end of it. You have to show respect to get respect. If both don't agree then then it should not be done.

Tell Hubby if one of the two have to be put down, the first choice is him, cause a dog can be trained.

How very generous of you and your husband! I'm sending you both a big hug right this minute. There ya go...!

Ask your husband if he would rather have the dog, a new baby, or a foreign exchange student?

How convincing can you be? I am sure you know how to manipulate him in your own little way ;)

I am sure you can think of the right button to push- if not, you probably really dont want the dog either!
