i dont think they should. but hear me out first. im not a sexist by any means.

the reason i feel they shouldnt receive praise for it is because i feel that women ARE equal in every way. and when the feminist movement go's out preaching about opression and talking about how women arent equal it reinforces and gives power to the notion that they arent equal. and thats just not right. if a woman TRULY feels as if they are just as equal and important as any man then why do they feel the need to have to call attention to it? an idea that is not acknowledged ceases to exist. do you agree??

Why do most women lack self-confidence? Even professional women I know, who carry out difficult work magnificently, are terribly concerned about their looks, relationships, whether people like them or not

Is it us men that have made them that way, or is it genetic?

If so which brand was it? Describe the experience in detail, and compare/contrast it to a Man licking. This is a serious question for my Women's Studies class. Thank You.

I am trying to show the feminist in 30 years, in my opinion, there may not even be an argument or a feminist, becasue everything will be equal.

Being a woman with middle age knocking on my back door, I've become very interested in the experience of sexuality of middle aged women. I have decided to do some in depth research about this and to, perhaps, write articles about it. I would be interested both in what middle aged women have to say about their experience of sexuality, and in what others perceive (especially men) middle aged women's sexuality to be. So, how do we perceive our own sexuality, and how is it perceived by others? That's my question.

DON"T TOUCH ME! It embarrassed me and made me feel like I did something terrible - like rape or something.. The way she was going on and on - I thought she was going to call the police on me. I was in line behind her at cash register.. I was in a daze. I was so confused. I sit at home now and hate all woman. There has been several things like this, that has happened to me in the past and I'll tell ya - It sure can make a person cynical at the world. Who is to blame for this sort of behavior that you can't touch a persons arm to get their attention? How is that violating someone? I am clean-cut and not dirty looking. But, above all - I am human being! Funny thing, is the police probably would have arrested me for assault... What a ridiculous country! I'm glad, I'll be checking out soon enough! Comments?

Do they practice what they preach?

Do they teach their sons to always treat women and men equally? Giving everyone the same courtesy and respect?

Or, do they teach their sons to treat women differently, "like ladies" (you know, all that special consideration that some women prefer)?

I wouldn't think so, since that would contradict their platform that men and women should be treated equally? But, I've been wrong before.

What about their daughters? What do they teach them to expect from men and treat them?

Do they teach them to expect the exact same courteous treatment they should give - no more, no less?

If you know first or second hand, I would appreciate hearing about it.

What was the point? Now, both men and women need to work in order to have the same life style we had back in the days. (Not good) And now both men and women need to do chores around the house, etc...

So nowadays we have: 2x income+house chores
Back then: 1x income+house chores

Is this something feminists are proud of?
I'm all for women's rights but couldn't you just have made a deal with your husband that he stays at home you work instead of creating a movement?

It could be regulated for health issues like the food service industry is.
It could be taxed like all businesses are.
It could be monitored for maintaining the safety of the workers with OSHA mandates.
It could be run in clean well-lighted places like McDonald's with a menu to choose from. Place your order and go to the pick up window. You know what you're getting and you get what you pay for.
The women would be there by choice and not by slave trade. No drug addicts allowed and no pimps; just managers and supervisors.
Instead of playing games with someone wondering if its going to work out, it's just one stop shopping.
It's just sex. What's the big deal if the women are there by choice and protected by law?

In the United States, at least, there exists a double-standard where it is taboo to show the breasts of a woman from a Western nation, but acceptable to show the breasts of women from tribal areas. Why do you think this is? Does this offend you?

Some controversial sharia laws favor Muslim men, including rejection of alimony and polygamy.

A woman's inheiritance is just 1/2 of a man's inheiritance.

In Sharia Court testimony, a man's testimony is equivalent to the testimony of TWO women.

The woman cannot marry without the consent of her guardian. If she marries, her husband becomes her new guardian.

Some view Islamic women as being oppressed by the men in their communities because of the required dress codes.

.Female Genital Mutilation' (FGM)
is a violation of the human rights of girls and women.
Muslims who practice this female ritual tend to use the term Female Circumcision (FC)
There are some who have been adamant about its religious importance amongst Muslims. In 1994, Egyptian Mufti Sheikh Jad Al-Hâqq 'Ali Jad Al-Hâqq issued a fatwa stating: "Circumcision is mandatory for women. If the people of any village decide to abandon it, the [village] imam must fight against them as if they hadd abandoned the call to prayer.[23]
