Frankly, I don't care if they're there and it's nice to have them there with us. But why the double standard?

At first glance I must say I was not pleased with your answer.
But then I read the whole thing. Your right, could not have said it any better.

When you first enter yahoo answers click on health under catagories.
next, you will see Men's Health as well as Women's Health.
along with some other catagories.
You can take it from there.

waswisgi,
True, most questions in men's heatth are about their little buddy.
At the same time, most questions in women's health are about their little partner down yonder and time of the month that pleges all women.
Haven't spent much time in women's health only went there to see what women were saying.
Women studies is much more interesting.

I personally have no problem with any man visiting and contributing to women's studies....in fact that's what yahoo is all about....the problem I have is when people use the women's study as a cruel and vicious way to spew hatred towards each other and attack the opposite sex....there is really no need for it

I did go to men's health once, I could not believe all the questions about size-wow are there ever a lot of insecure men out there! But I did not respond since it's not a topic I'm interested in. I like questions in any Yahoo Answers area, including Women's Studies, that are actually seeking a response versus being used to denigrate others. Unfortunately, in a few categories, like Women's studies, some people can't resist being aggressively hostile. Many of responses from both women and men are not spewing junk but are actual attempts to answer (sometimes incredibly rude) questions. But just look at a couple of the responses to this question-both men and women have made ugly remarks including swear words...I like sarcasm, but already some of these answers to your question are ugly...I'll have to check out the Men's health section again and see if women are asking hostile, angry questions and replying with swear words like some of the people do here in Women's studies...Do you really not notice the difference??

Women like men also have questions that need answering. However, women are more protective, and secretive by nature when it comes to themselves( part of the charm of a woman if I might add). When a man comes to women studies they get protective of themselves and feel invaded. Try to understand this every one is protective of something. When it comes to women they are looked upon as a prey to a lot of men. They are raised to be protective of themselves while men are raised to have a fight and battle their way through life more than women.
I am talking generally here. It is just parents tend to feel more protective of their daughters and this in turn psychologically affect her and she becomes more protective and worrying while sons are more encouraged to stand up for themselves and prove themselves against other boys.
Men through history are more con-frontal than women, while women are more cunning and secretive than men.
Deny it as you may but surely there are certain things you have double standards about too!!

For the same reason men go into women's health...
Oh, and there are plenty of men here who's comments are welcome...even if they don't agree with "my" personal views. Most of them, in fact. It's the ones who use this a forum to bash and attack others on a PERSONAL level, that suck. But that's just my "opinion."

Hmmm. If I went into Men's Health, it would be because my man has a problem he won't talk to the doctor about.
Since I don't have a man and don't want one ever again, I was just interested in your question.

Serious question...have you taken the time to see what some of the males post on the women's section? Think about what EXACTLY are they complaining about?

They complain probably because you all try to stir them up. I didn't know there was a men's health section. I don't see one on here.
