I am seeking to know, from a woman's point of view, be totally honest.

Do you see men as unattractive compared to women?
Do you like women better than men?
Do you think a woman could influence you more strongly than a man?

I would love to know if you like men or women the most, & which you think is the most beautiful.

Also of interest to me, is which do you think is a better partner to have a relations with, & why?

Appreciate your responses!

The feminists I know only want choices and equal opportunities as men. They are normal women with opinions and goals. What is so scary about that?

i am not over bearing or anything and i let her be her own person and i let the decision be up to her if it is something that has to do with her. but i always have an instinctual need to protect her from things that may cause her emotional or physical harm. am i bad in the eyes of a feminist or other women?

Just looking through the statistics on childlessness in women in different categories and couldn't help but notice three interesting things:

http://www.census.gov/population/socdemo/fertility/p20-526/tab03.txt

ALL MARITAL CLASSES

Not a high school graduate : 12.3% Childless
High school, 4 years 14.5% Childless
Some college, no degree 17.1% Childless
Associate degree : 21.0% Childless
Bachelors degree : 27.2% Childless
Graduate or professional degree : 35.6% Childless

Not in labor force : 9.1% Childless
Farming, forestry and fishing : 13.4% Childless
Service occupations : 11.2% Childless
Managerial and professional : 18.3% Childless

WOMEN NEVER MARRIED:

Unemployed or not in labor force : 46.6% Childless
Managerial and professional : 85.3% Childless

So.. more educated - less children. Higher status job - less children. Not married - less children.

Not married, in high status job (feminists will love you), 4 to 5 odds of never having children.

Good for evolution, yes?

By reading many of the posts I have found out the following: women are not paid equally; they are being attacked for defending their rights in this women studies section; being skipped from promotions; and when defending women rights they are called lesbians or feminazis. I have lived in America for several years now and am amazed by this injustice.

I also have another question: isn’t it against the federal law for women to be paid 85 cents to a dollar?

It's a strange question, i know, but somehow strikes me as a reversal in power roles--my most vulernable area, and the heart of what makes me a man....

I keep seeing people argue that gender is a social construct, but what I THINK they mean is that gender ROLES are a social construct. After all, gender is a physical condition, based on anatomy and chromosomes. Gender roles, however, are activities ascribed to a person because of their particular gender.
Am I missing something?

This is hypothetical, not real. suppose a woman around 1815, or so, married a count but he died and she was a countess. Inherited all of his money, had no children. Was a genius and evryone knew it who knew her. Very beautiful and still young. Do you think it would have been acceptable for her to be a composer, or do you think people would have laughed at it. Most composers back then were men, but not all of them were. I know weird question.
