There is a lot of pure vitriol being posted about feminazi vs good ol' boy heritage, and all that jazz. But the truth remains that women still have a tough time in the workplace. I was wondering what steps real women out there are taking to ensure their ideas, contributions, and skills do not go unnoticed? Wouldn't that be far more productive than the useless whining that seems to dominate this forum? This can be a positive avenue to get women of all ages thinking about the roles they play, and how to advance. So, let's hear it How do you manage your career? How have you had to manage it differently than your male counterparts?

Is it more socially acceptable for an adult female to live at home with her parents than a male? Why do people make fun of people who still live at home anyway?

It doesn't make any sense to me. I guess it just proves that Women need to work harder among their own gender to show that striving for equality isn't a bad thing!

I've read a lot of questions on here referring to girls kicking guys in the balls and it seems really popular among todays youth. When I was in hight school it wasn't like that, you didn't resort to kicking someone in balls unless it was very serious. Today so many people do it for fun and don't think about the consequences. Why do you think its ok to do this?

I saw this case on a court t.v. show and the man was given a good lashing because he hit a woman back who had started the fight and was beating the crap out of him!he said that he did not know what else to do cause she just kept comin at him and he was backed in a corner,do you think some women take advantage of this rule/law?what should/would you do in a situation like this?

There are numerous movies and shows from several years ago in which women are spanked. Yes, normally they have done something bad, but to have men spank them just seems degrading. It's like saying they are simply little children, and it makes it seem perfectly okay for men to spank them.

Are feminists actually fighting for special interests or for equal treatment?

If feminists are honestly interested in equal treatment, why haven't they fought the sexist language in VAWA (they’ve had 13 years), just as they would surely have it if it were reversed?

What if the “Violence Against WOMEN Act” (VAWA) was renamed the “Violence Against MEN Act” and the thousands (literally) of references to "women" and "girls" were replaced by "men" and "boys?"

Would feminists have decried it as discrimination and unequal treatment of women?

(Adding a statement to say that men are covered too does not make it gender-neutral.)

Why are they silent in this case, when the inequality seems to be in their favor?
