We want and deserve equality in the work force, but at home and on dates we still want to be treated as women. And I do pay for dates an equal amount of the time. Of course I have had the same date for the past 18 yrs.

True equality will never happen. Our lives are different today than in the 60's. Women then really didn't have equality. Voting is not true equality. Find a women who respects you. I know there are some out there. Also, a women is more self-conscious and a man isn't nearly as self-conscious as a woman. That's why she asks you to do the dirty jobs. I, personally, have no clue how to fix the plumbing, and hire a plumber because I'm not married.

Exactly, this is why noone listens to feminists any more.

This we want real equality thing will only work once. When they got the same rights as men, they refused to take on the same responsibilities.

Have you ever seen a feminist campaign aimed at getting other women to take responsibility for something?

So we found out it was all a crock and don't listen to them any more. The reality is feminism is all about having the advantages of a matriarchy, while attempting to keep the advantages of patriarchy, without any of the responsibilities.

It's not sustainable, but that doesn't mean we're going to let them destroy our lives and society in the meantime.

The women you are choosing are selfish, if they don't want to share the good and the bad with you and are not willing to do their share of the chores or are not willing to pay someone to do them for both of you. If they call themselves feminists, they're not.

When I dated (I'm in a committed relationship now) I paid my way, unless it caused a scene, and even then, I'd make sure I paid my and my date's fees the first opportunity I got. I hate doing some house chores, most garden chores, and some car stuff; if I'm not willing to do it, I'll pay someone else to do it; I'd never expect my partner to do something I don't want to do. If there's anything my partner doesn't want to do, if I don't want to do it, I'll pay someone else to do it. A lot of this stuff is just about being a mature, responsible adult who doesn't expect someone else to clean up after them! You deserve better, find an adult, not a selfish child.

Personally, I pay for most of the things my husband and I have, because I have a better job and he is in college. And when it comes to doing automotive work or fixing things, we both do it. Just like when it comes to cooking and cleaning, we both participate. Some women may fall into your line of reasoning, but not all do. Change is slow, but if it makes you feel any better, there were just as many women in my automotive class in high school as there were men. Just don't generalize please, because in doing so you only perpetuate the social constructs of gender inequality.

i treat a woman with respect and equality. but i do beleive they are the weaker sex in ONLY the physical sense. and they are more emotionaly vulnerable. but in there nature this is a very good thing. i still feel a natural instince to protect her. but other than that she can do whatever she wants. because she is not MY lady she is her own person and both sexes are inferior to eachother in different ways. but yeah i know what you mean. i actualy dont personaly know any feminist women accept one and nobody likes her not even my women friends. most people recognize feminism as tyrannical and realize they are not againsts double standards if it favors them

i agree with you, those feminist don't want equality, they want only rights but no duties, they want the good things they have now plus more, and not losing those that were given to them when they were not equal.
