This seems to be a fundamentally overlooked question. What's your take on it?

My family and i went on a canoeing and camping trip. We were pushing the canoes into the water when we found a Humerus and Scapula. The humerus is about a foot long. and the scapula is relative size. I want to find out if they belong to a certian animal or...a human. I took the bones to my anatomy and physiology teacher and he says they look like a small childs but he isnt sure.

I dont want to run to the police and be like "OMG ITS A DEAD HUMAN LOOK!" So how can or where can i go to get it identified. When found them in columbus, IN. on the bank of the blue river. Near Fort Autterbury.

and is it good or bad?In the days of old, people talked to their neighbors more.Over the fence in the back yard,on the patio in the evenings. It took so long to travel anywhere, once you got there, you made the most of it.Here on the prarie,it would take a whole day to get groceries for the month!you knew the butcher, the baker, ect~REAL people.then came radio, and gas powered cars,TV,planes, and finally the internet, which connects us instantly to people around the world in different cultures and communities. Many people are very absorbed with the "idiot box" as TV was once called, and many more with the 'net.some spend hours and hours online ,inside, alone, yet with hundereds of other people with which they interact through cyberspace.Does this fulfill the basic human need of companionship, friendship, love?Sure you probably know your neighbor next door, but how about the next one,or those a block away.In the old days, you would. But then, you wouldn't know instantly, about events from across the worl

is it something cultural or biological?

is it instinct? when did we(human beings) started kissing?

i personally don´t enjoy kissing that much... It seems pretty clear to me that I only enjoy kissing the girls I´m in love... but even then, the kiss is just "another thing", not nearly as important as sex... if a girl offered me to exchange(it´s just an example, im not used to have sex this way, hahaha) 5 seconds of sex for 10 minutes of kissing, i wouldn´t take it

and yes, there are some "special mouths" that I really enjoy, can´t explain why, but those are exceptions

so the question is pretty simple, why do we kiss? if you think about it, it´s really disgusting... not only with hookers/hoes/sluts, but with anybody... i don´t understand how some guy/girls can kiss up to 10 strangers at the same night(yes, this is very common in my country)

maybe the philosophers have something interesting to say about that as well...

thanks for reading my question!!

I see a turning of the tides in US culture. I see a return to a time where the people were more reserved, modest, buttoned-up, Victorian. It will be expressed in many ways. Fashion, grammar, television, movies, fiction novels, food, mannerisms, art, etc.
I have my reasons that lead me to theroem, but I should like to reserve them pending your thoughts on this. Thank you.

My daughter is good at math and science. She had always wanted to be a civil engineer or scientist. Well, this is her last year of high school. She will be going away to college. I asked her what her major will be. She said Anthropology. We live in a town of 5600 so I know that they are not looking for an anthropologist anytime soon. So, what is the job outlook? What can she do with this degree? I would hate for her to have to pay back student loans for a degree that she cannot use. I wish that she would stick with the original plan...engineering. That's where the money is. Anyway, is anthropology a good choice or not?

Evolution is said to be the homo sapien race evolving from monkeys. Why aren't the monkeys of today evolving to humans? Why are us Christians, stronger, why r we so bothered about those who believe more in scientific crap or people that believe in scientology? Scientology is crap, why would people think that science is superior to God. More superior than the horrible death of Jesus Christ who died for all of us. (Note this are my thoughts, I respect urs)
