Amen to that. I completely believe that the world was created by God and that he is responsible for any and every living thing on the face of this earth and universe. Any who think otherwise....well I'll just have to tell them the truth and if they still don't listen to the bible...poopie on them.

Evolution is a theory.Just that: a theory. No scientific theory is ever accepted by the scientific community itself as anything other than a theory, that is, a hypothesis that has been verified time and again by observation and experiment, but still it is an idea that may be rejected by the community at some point in the future if some new data or observations contradict it.
Evolution does not teach that people evolved from monkeys.Actually, my understanding is that the current thinking is that both humans and monkeys had a common ancestor millenium upon millenium ago.
Also, my current understanding of the debate is this:
1.Those who reject the theory of evolution have to explain the fossil record. The strongest support to date of the theory of evolution lies in the extensive number of fossils that have been found all over the world, and the carbon-14 dating of these fossils, by which scientists can determine fairly accurately about when these creatures lived, and draw conclusions about which preceded which, and which followed which.
2.Supporters of the theory of evolution are faced with the fact that to date, no satisfactory mechanism has been put forward to explain how evolution occurs. The theories of Lamarck have been rejected, and while current supporters of the theory speak of mutations which occur on the level of DNA, some challenge this idea on the bases of the laws of probability and the timescales involved(the two concepts are intertwined.).
That is how I see it.

Evolution is a theory. Imperfect but a theory. Perhaps you should read about the difference between a law and a theory. Then read about how bacteria evolve into resistant species. Evolution is not perfect. Scientology is a modern thing not like one of the older established religions. It is not like one of the 3 major religions. It is a creation of a modern man. These questions combined are really odd. How about doing some science reading and learn about laws and theorys and not getting too excited about religion. You will be really excited when you realize a Therory is not attacking your relgion the way you think it is. They can co-exist. Perhaps God set off the whole chain of events? The monkey thing does not work we all know that. There is something to evolution however because it is happening right now on earth. Look at some fruit fly expieriments they do it right in our lifetime quickly. Worry not they can co-exist. We can believe in Jesus and Evolution. Jesus was here.
Oh and scientology has nothing to do with science.

Scientology has absolutely nothing to do with science.
Hubbard wasn't a scientist, and knew practically nothing of the scientific method or science in general for that matter.
Scientology hasn't been scientifically researched or endorsed. The only study done on dianetics in the 1950's showed it didn't do what it said it did.
Scientology is a cult and a scam.

As for evolution, I honestly don't think you have understood about evolution if you ask why monkeys aren't evolving into humans.
This is a good site to look at for balance to creationist sites, and you can learn all about evolution.

Scientific crap also brings us entertainment, medicine, flight, etc, and so don't lump all science together either. However the same science that brings us these practical benefits also supports evolution, so I don't know how you can reconcile that, but I'm sure you will find a way ;)
Heck Hubbard even published in one of books called the History of Man, that we are descended from Clams! And thats why people get jaw ache! Another claim he made was he endorsed the Piltdown man, later debunked by Science. LMAO.

You don't know what evolution is. Evolution is the product of completely and totally random mutations that happen within an individual's genetic code. The invidividual then reproduces, passing down the mutated code to the next generation. If the mutation, or GROUP of mutations develop into a trait that makes people carrying it stronger for survival, then eventually many more of the population will carry that trait. As time goes on more mutations occur, randonmly, and animals will change species, some will stay the same, etc. We evolved out of primates, and current monkeys evolved in different ways, and we are all still evolving. Evolution takes a very long time. I am a Christian and I believe that the theory of evolution makes sense and is correct.
Scientologists are wacky, but they are allowed to have their own opinion and lifestyle.

evolution is not people from monkeys. it is the process in which living things change via natural selection. that definition is what is helping to ruin science. why are christians so darned threated by the scientific community if they have faith. evolution can be shown. take darwins finches for just one example. the same species of finches EVOLVED to live in new geographic areas. If you are going to use a word use it correctly( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evolution ). also so what if we evolved from monkeys. the bible says that we were created in gods image. it doesnt say that he didn't set up a process for us to take on a slightly different form latter on. ppl just dont want to believe god is a monkey. I like monkeys i could dig a god that is a monkey. if christians are going to have a problem with teaching a scientifically proven process then why not through them all out and dont use anything that came from science. go put on you fig leaf and get off fo the computer.

In the Bible it says that God made man in His image, and unless God looked like a monkey, which I totally doubt, that means that Man could not have evolved from the ape. I do, in general, believe in the evolution of all things, because nothing stays the same, but that does not mean we evolved from Apes.
I do not believe in Scientology.

Yes, I believe in the theory of evolution...however, your simplized statement following your question relays your ignorance of the subject. We DIDN"T EVOLVE FROM MONKEYS...we have a COMMON ancestor approximately 10 million years ago, at least at best guess so far. But more importantly...how long is a day to G-d? I haven't a clue...do you? Another point...science is G-d explained in a way most people (excepting perhaps yourself) can understand...
G-d created us aeons ago...and has left us to our oun devices...
Scientology is a belief system, whether is it right or wrong is unimportant to me, and obviously to you as well since you've already made up our mind on the matter..
Your Jesus didn't die for me, as I firmly reject Human Sacrifice and so does my G-d. See Lev 18.21, 20.2, Micah 6.7-8, Jeremiah 19.15,32.35, Ezekiel 16.20-21 just to name a few.
But this is America and you have the right to be misimformed if you so desire, just as I do.

Scientology and Evolution are crap. I guess maybe people are looking for ways to denounce God?
The thing is... there are so many scientist who become Christians trying to prove evolution is correct and that Jesus never existed.

Micro evolution is a fact. Macro evolution (that we are descended from simpler creatures) is conjecture. Nothing says we descended from apes Scientology was a bet between L. Ron Hubbard and Robert A Heinlein.

Dont believe in evolution because the Bible says,in the beginning God Created! That settles it for me! As for scientology, that is just another false religion man has made up. I believe as a christian i should know the basic beliefs of false religions so that when they do ask questions of my faith,i can also point out the falsehoods of their beliefs and point the scriptures to them, because only the Word is going to convert them.
