Can the influence of alcohol be considered a truth serum so to say in social circumstances? Are there any studies out there to support this? Or is it simply a depressant reminding us of what we do not have? But what about all the happy drunks out there??????? Feelings of being anxious for events that no significant meaning, and just wanting to get out of places, and away from people.

Often gets confused on a daily basis.

Alot of times, feeling a slight sting of discrimination. Mainly with groups, adults, and certain types of people.

Feelings and pains on body that do not make sense.

Symptoms of not being able to think straight for hours on end.

Sometimes thoughts come and go so rapidly, and it can be difficult to catch all of them mentally.

Cannot concentrate on one thought for very long.

Thoughts become disorganized and sort o fragmented. When talking, often jumps from topic to topic, making it hard to understand sometimes.

Out of body experiences. ( More of an observer feeling.)

i feel that life is the same thing over again and i am starting to get depressed

i feel very lonely and notice my life is a pattern and boring things

i do sometimes go out but i dont think about those times

Roe v. Wade cited Buck v. Bell, a 1927 case upholding forced sterilization. In San Antonio Independent School District v. Rodriguez, Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall comments on Roe's decision, saying: "[T]he Court reaffirmed its initial decision in Buck v. Bell. See Roe v. Wade, supra, at 154." In other words, Roe reaffirmed forced sterilization of women. Then in 1978, in a case called Stump v. Sparkman, the Court upheld forced sterilization even of unrepresented women. So the question is would you support Roe v. Wade if you found this out?

I am 14, and I am always depressed. I talk to everyone, but then I think they only talk back to me cuz they feel sorry for me. No way I'll talk to my mom, she'll say i have no reason to be depressed, and I don't. I have exellent grades, im great in sports, and i have friends who always tell me how pretty I am, even though I don't really see it, but i cry, and feel alone in the world all the time. I feel stupid and if I just try to be happy, and feel cool, I end up feeling more stupid. I am great at faking confidence and pretending im feeling great, but that just maks me feel worse and I'm sick of people not knowing ho I feel, but at the same time, I would die of embarrassment if everybody knew how I feel. What can I do to feel better?

I have to many things wrong right now. I don't want to feel anymore. How can I turn my emotions off? I'd prefer to die but suicide isn't an option.

I don't want anyone to tell me to just cheer up because you have no idea how much I have wrong in my life.

I am 100% serious about all of this.

friends for years and he's secretly liked me but he never went for it b/c he thought the chances of being w. me were slim only to find out that after all this time, I felt the same way back - I was the first girl he fell in love with BUT "life challenges" (death) and rumors/assumptions from friends made you us drift apart and it created tension BUT rather than giving up or seeking revenge, we worked it out and everything is starting to be better than before, the relationship grew (this happened in a 9 month span)

We're in the process of being close friends again...In the beginning when we first met, we "clicked' right away and could be able to talk to each other about anything and everything. We would always see each other in and out of classes, have lunch, and talk to each other almost every night. That was 3 years ago and obviously, THINGS change, PEOPLE change, and we change but it's not that we're growing apart - we're just growing up while adjusting to all this change...
It's different and i get scared that we'll lose our "closeness" but someone told me, "true things are never lost..." CAN WE STILL DO OUR OWN THING AND BE CLOSE? We used to talk all the time and now we don't call each other; not sure if it's a "guy thing" where they stop talking on the phone, we're both busy, or he's changed alot from the his friend's death...i'm sorry i'm just venting - THOUGHTS? I'd really appreciate it! THANKS

Britney Spears' carreer has taken a complete downtownurn. Once an American icon -- now a defeated, humiliated American woman.

When she first arrived, she was a pop icon. It had gone from success after success, to defeat after defeat.

How can she endure so much stress? The divorce, the weight gain, her degradation of her looks, the public humiliation of her not wearing underwear and her privates being exposed to photographs for the world to see, her shaving her hair, her drug abuse, her being slammed in the media as being an unfit mother...

when you thought it couldn't get any worse, she loses custody of her kids to the father AND she is due in court for a hit & run and will possibly face jail time.

Is there a possibility this thoroughly defeated and beaten-down American icon may commit suicide? That's way too much stress anyone should take all at once. How will she snap?

Do we need people in life?If we had a turning point in our life could it be that we did it without the assistance of people(most people make big descisions based on what others say or how others may react to their actions) could we do it through sheer will power alone with no factors influnecing us to do what we do
Just the fact that we want to do it

I had a dream where I cut my arm open. I then picked up a handfull of dirt from the ground and stuffed it into my arm.

It wasn't painful, but It felt more like a spiritual act.

What could this mean?
