I'm stuck on the internet.
Once I start, probably for school, I'll get stuck on here for two hours, wasting time on my favorite blogs or sites!
How can I detox? (Other than just not going on it!)

Set a timer for yourself for 20 minutes. Once the buzzer sounds, make yourself go do something else.

You detox by getting a life and being around people to socialize. Got get some coffee, bum around, go to the movies, go do something other than park yourself in front of the PC screen. Reading between the lines, you must not have any close meaningful relationships with friends by interacting with them face to face. People need personal interactions and the Internet has seemed to prevent those sorts of things happening between people. Once you develop those close friendships, the Internet will be less important. You made a choice to get stuck on the Internet, you can make the choice to get off. It's totally up to you.

i understand. you start out legitimately. then you're sidetracked. maybe you checked mail and were reminded to look at the new pics of a friend. maybe you saw a funny pic and clicked for more laugh. either way, time runs away from you and before long you're saying, "i'll just check out this one last thing."
it's a trap!
lol

i've been there many times. i go thru phases of it then return to life as usual. i have to practice a great deal of self-control when i feel the net-bug coming for me. you have to remember to distrubute your time accordingly to your responsibilities and use the internet as your reward at the end of a productive day.
i don't socialize much so the internet is my social outlet. as long as i don't log in before my son's bedtime, and i sleep early enough to be a productive citizen, i feel no guilt about my on-line time.
