Do we need people in life?If we had a turning point in our life could it be that we did it without the assistance of people(most people make big descisions based on what others say or how others may react to their actions) could we do it through sheer will power alone with no factors influnecing us to do what we do
Just the fact that we want to do it

By all means we need people. Contact with others (called a social network) increases our immune systems, our stress tolerance, our ability to endure, etc.

We can get this contact in many different ways (hence Y! Answers and online chat rooms) but the best by far are those intimate friends, friends who you can trust to be with you on bad hair days, bad mood days, the good, the bad, etc. Acceptance is an miracle cure for even the worst days.

EDIT TO YOUR COMMENTS:
Yes, we still need people....to bounce ideas off of and to improve our perspective. Usually we develop our plans and decisions based on an eclectic borrowing of many different people's opinions. But it is also tremendously liberating to do something completely independently.

yes you need people for the same reason you asking this on line. we give a different look to the situation or what ever the case may be. look at the pros and cons . etc. some people can handle making big decision's without looking at all points of view. who does it effect? how will it effect? stuff like that . those who don't care about the effects things can do to the rest of there life's and the people around them.

Yes and this has been the way most revolutionary, original /radical and non conventional ideas were born.As to give effect to them or to implement them ,we need people. But,that's not the scope of the question. As a matter of fact, such ideas can not come up by any process of consensus, brain storming or group discussions etc.

No.
You always need help.
Pun intended on your avatar id.
We need people for everything in our lives, as much as we need air for our lives. It is in our genes. It also gives us a better outcome in all our projects. To go it alone is because you are stuck in a space craft well beyond the moon, with all communications broken between you and ground control.

The human being is a community-oriented creature, we are interdependant. We NEED others, plain and simple.
