I find that when I get sick and am running a fever or when I take medicine before going to bed that I have insanely bizarre dreams. Sometimes that are frightening and other times, nothing other than odd.

Does anyone know what causes these dreams? I would imagine that it would have to do with some imbalance in the brain, but I'm not sure.

Thanks so much.

Do you ever just take a step outside yourself and look at what you are and not like it? Or feel like you are killing youself with stress, worry and anxiety? Do you ever just stop youself when you wake up in the morning and say, "no more, Im going back to how I used to be"
Im a one of a kind kind of person, Im sure if Jim answers this he'll vouch for me, Im sorta my own shaolin priest, I came to a point where I felt like nothing could ever upset my inner balance, but now I realize that inbalance is part of balance, it is the counter to the latter, not that I hadnt before I guess, only now I realize that I have been completely out of whack. I have a fear, every day, (Im not even kidding u) that the sun will explode. Its like this huge paranoia and I know its irrational but I cant stop thinking it sometimes. I have a fear of losing my self, or identity but this ive heard is just part of being a teen... well have at it, answer the first question please, and then

Without the feminists trailblazers of yesterday, and the successful professional women of today who would little girls and adolescent females be able to emulate in the course for self-fulfillment? Who would they look up to if we had no feminists?

I don't tend to feel grief over death. I've never had anyone close to me die- they've all been acquaintances or close to another member of my family. But I find it really hard to sympathize, which is odd because I constantly over-empathize in every other aspect. I feel guilty for not feeling sad over losing someone, but it doesn't change anything. Am I not normal? And why would this happen? Please no "you're a jerk" answers.

FEMALE CHIMPANZEES 'SELL' SEX FOR FRUIT
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/earth/main.jhtml?xml=/earth/2007/09/11/eachimp111.xml

"Female chimpanzees are "selling" sex to the males that gather the most fruit, according to new research."

"The scientists also discovered that the chimp that gathered the most fruit in the "food-for-sex" trade received more grooming from females than the group's alpha male."

"Male chimps were also said to be most likely to give food to a female that took part in the most "consortships", where an adult female and male move to the edge of the community where the male enjoys exclusive mating access."

There's a guy in one of these Yahoo! Answers sections who keeps calling people "gay" and using words like "homo" and "homer" and what-not. He will probably read this and comment, since he likes to look at my profile and post on my questions. Doesn't something in psychology suggest that he might be gay... since he is trying to distance himself from a particular flaw?

The US has the highest percentage of Christian citizens in the world. We also are also the worlds most armed nation with there being about 9 guns for every ten people in the country. Are we just a nation of blatant hypocrites, or do we as a nation believe that when Christ returns, he'll be a Magnum carrying member of the NRA?

Me and the girl left the hotel we were at and went to another one to hide out. I remember alot of police and they ended up taking the other girl to jail and not me. I am 20 years old, and I have been using drugs and alcohol since I was 15. Both my parents are alcoholics and I have a little brother who is seeing my father and I use on a regular basis. I want intervention, and I've tried going about getting help by myself, but I really need my family to be there with me. I know they know there is a problem here, but they just won't communicate with me about it. AND I'VE TRIED TO TELL THEM I NEED THEM. I don't want to look like a sorry blubbering fool. I am going to college and looking for a job. I want my little brother to see us take responsibility. I need advice on how I can approach my family with this, without looking like I'm starving for attention.

Women increasingly complain about how hard it is to find good men that are willing to commit. Also a lot more men are delaying or avoiding marriage all together.

Of course women will blame men for this, but isn't it really because women don't offer men enough these days? Why else are so many American men marrying foreign women who are more traditional?

I think for the greater good.. women need to be more introspective and look at how their behavior is shaping things as well.
