I'm very impatient and have difficulties meditating. I can't sit still for long and just concentrate on something.

Any alternatives to relax my mind? Preferbly one that distracts me from my problems cos meditation seem to let me recall a lot of my troubles. =X

I always beleive a person should not do what they do not want to do .

However i have seen post where a girlfirend wanted @nal sex and the boyfriend refused and vice versa . I have seen post on other sexual interest not being mutual such as oral sex , foot fetish , rough sex .Again both genders being at different ends of the polar spectrum . Interestingly i see some men refusing things like having @nal sex with a women , or refusing a woman oral sex or a guy not wanting to be bitten during sex .

It will vary of course but do you think men and women will compromises on issues of sexual interest and compatabilty .

If so how much compromise is reasonable ?

Is one gender more prone to compromise on issues of sexual interest than the other ?

I don't like butch women but a yahoo member gave me an website which she hoped make me understand them more www.butch-femme.com
Anyway I went on the site and it's made me even more scared and disgusted by Butch women. These women act like men and don't even like to be called her, they use hym. I don't understand why these femme women don't just get a better looking MAN than a woman trying to be a man. I'm more scared of Butch women now as they freak me out even more. Is this normal? do I need help for being against a group

Is there a way for a girl to be strong and a good fighter without sacrificing her femininity? My friend would like to know how to do this. Somebody at church insulted her- (a guy named Nick) and she kept asking him "Why did you say that?" He got mad because she kept bugging him & he said "Stop asking me or I'll get Jessica to beat you up. You haven't seen her fight- she's a beast at fighting!" Jessica is his friend. She has a small bone frame but she has big breasts (36C) My friend hates her. Jessica is a sl*t too and she was kicked out of high school for making out with lots of boys. So this girl Jessica is a good fighter although she doesn't look masculine. So how can my friend be a good fighter too (and be able to defeat Jessica) without looking masculine?

I was sitting in my Tv room. and i think i was talking to my Girlfriend. and then i was like "holy (profanity)" and i saw a Gob of hair and gross dust, hanging down from the vent, and there was a Spider on the End of it, crawling around slowly like spiders do. and then the Dust/hairGob with the spider BREAKS OFF and starts floating down at me, i was like AAAAH, and i had a binder, and I deflected it. and I guess i fell on the ground, and this other strand of hair gob mess, was floating down and was floating above my chest barely and i was so scared that it would touch me. Then i woke up.

Are we basing this on historical documentation of their erratic behavior? I have often heard Van Gogh, and Poe referred to as manic depressive/schizophrenic/ect. Albert Einstein as autistic/schizophrenic among numerous other dead greats now being diagnosed. Did we establish these assumptions to bring consolation to those suffering from mental illness, or in our pretentious faith in modern science decide to "label" any popular figure who's behavior did not conform to the standards of their time, and apply it to ours? I'm just curious and a little confused as the criteria for mental illness and specific diagnoses continues to "evolve" daily and remains subjective and inconsistent. Supposedly a "definititive diagnoses"can not be made without a psych eval(and even then...)
I've read that Joan of Arc was a schizophrenic. Jesus Christ 's documented behaviors make the rest look simply eccentric. Who's gonna touch that?

OK. when u r a kid, u get many lessons on honesty, truth, peace and many other good good things. Do we really take care of those moral values in our lives? Isnt it impractical to give such education to a kid, when he doesnt find that working in real life? Who is truthful now a days? n if truthful, is he successful? if u spk truth all the time u r not at all respected so u have to go for middle path , means manipulation, right? so why should we guide the next generation in wrong way? why not go teach them to be practical and too much manipulative? can we be a lil realistic to our kids?

After Zimbabwe gained its independence most Whites still controlled the land. A few years back the President Mugabe issued a "land re-distribution" act where the government went to these farms and took land by force from the White people and gave it to the blacks. There was often violence and rape involved in these take overs.

As a result of this "Land re-distribution" act blacks ended up with more land than the Whites. So you know what that means? Nothing! Nothing at all!

The Blacks did absolutely nothing with the newly claimed land, they did not farm it or tend to it like the Whites did. They sat on it all day long and did absolutely NOTHING. As a result there was wide spread famine and shortages and the people of Zimbabwe suffered greatly. That's one of the many reasons for why Zimbabwe (once the richest country in Africa) is in an economic melt down.

A friend has recently revealed to me that she once strangled her father then ran away from home. This was after she had told me that her father is an alcoholic and used to hurt her when he was drunk (both physically and emotionally). This is the main reason she took up martial arts to defend herself from her father. She is a Lesbian and just recently ended a 5 yr relationship with someone who is clinically depressed. It's really sad that she had to go thru this. I want to help her but now she claims she's fallen in love with me and I don't know what to do. I like her but just not in the way she likes me.
