I don't know what to do anymore i am really fed up because i literally have nothing to live for.

I am not that pretty or smart...i thought i could deal with that
I dont have friends...i thought i could deal with that also
BUT

From the day i was born nothing good has ever happend to me actually only seriously bad things. I've been abused in every way imaginable and been through too much and i havent been "compensated" for it...sure growing up with one parent i wud expect me to atleast excell or be content with other parts of my life but im not because nothings going on for me. I have no siblings to share a bond with and ive been for therapy but nothings working.

I also dont want to blame my past because now i realize im on more or less the same page as everyone else but why cant i be someone special to anyone or do well or be content with other aspects of my life?

Im scared for the future and dont think ill ever be socially right and im too quiet...and nobody likes me

I have seen many different answers and points. As an old-time feminist (for MANY years!), feminism was ALWAYS about equal opportunity - in career, politics, business, finance, etc.
There are always going to be crazies out there and haters out there (of all stripes). Seems to me that we should be looking to the original definition of feminism and not what some crazies make up.

This I notice happens a lot. If you look thoughout history those who have little freinds or social deviate tend to perform the most complicated and hard to catch criminal acts. What is it about the socially withdrawn trait that relates to criminal behavior? And why do the criminal behavior that these people perform tend to be very difficult for people to investigate?

I'm havin a real hard time mentally right now (check my profile for some issues) I've cut up my arm,scratch the hell out of my legs and am feeling exteremly suicidal. My therapist has been trying so hard with me that I don't want him to feel that I'm letting him down. I see him at 3pm (1 1/2 hrs from now) but I really don't want him to know what I'm going through right now in fear that he'll abandon the theraputic relationship in that he might feel I can't be helped. Suicide is my choice of action please don't comment on how wrong that would be. I really need to know what to tell my therapist. Thanx

I'm short but I was never bothered by it until people teased me once in a while. Now I just laugh with them, and it doesn't bother me.
Is that the only reason that people don't like being short is because other people tease them?
My fellow short people, what are your reasons for not liking that fact that you're short?

Why do you seek to take a human beings right to justice and innocence until proven guilty if you are for equality.

Isnt that more drifting toward totalitarionism than feminism (if feminism is in fact for equality)

Do you see that taking the liberties of all of one gender for the sake of the few in the other gender as justifiable.

I had a dream last night that my boyfriend cheated on me with his ex-girlfriend. I've heard that it means I'm insecure, which is true. But the feelings I had in the dream were so real (I was really hurt.) And I woke up feeling the same way. Now I'm paranoid that he's going to cheat on me, or already has. I've had dreams in the past that my boyfriend (at the time) was cheating on me, and he actually was. So it's hard for me to just ignore the dream. What do you think?

I had a dream i was in a nice modern day house with a couple of people i don't even know. This one guy was like casting a spirit ( i dont know if good or bad) in a room by the stairs. Okay so.. i have a really good boyfriend, good friends,good family i get along with mostly everyone specially people in my family and outside my family.. im not at all ugly,i've always got what i wanted and i always had a good life... and in one month im starting college for *Health Information Technology* but there is one problem with my personality that has always stopped me from doing well... I ask this because I am an attractive woman, but I am afraid to get down to my goal weight because I am afraid of the attention from men and hostility from women. I have found that during the periods of my life when I was thin and beautiful, I couldn't go anywhere without men hitting on me and women being jealous and catty with me. It seems easier for me to just keep eating and being fat, that way I am not a threat to anyone. Does this make sense? How can I overcome this?
