Social Science - 20 September 2007

I've been with my boyfriend for 4 years but i dont think theres much hope for us. I hate going out, i hate socialising, its like a nightmare scenario, im ok around close friends and family but anyone outside of that im extremely uncomfortable with. Im terrified to meet new people, i dont know what to say. Everyone thinks im a b*tch cos i just stare away and dont speak. My boyfriend is the opposite, he loves going out, socialising, meeting new people. I would love to be like that but im not. Im paranoid people are thinking and saying things about me and drive him mad moaning about it. I hate going to his parents house cos they always have friends over and i hate meeting them all.

We are so different and he does not understand what it is like to have social anxiety.

Is there anything I can do? Idon't want to lose him.

I'm having recurrent dreams about snakes in my bedroom. They had stopped for a while, but now they're back with a vengeance.

Usually, I dream that my floor is filled with snakes or that snakes are hiding in the corners and under my bed.

The last one, I dreamed that a snake managed to climb unto my bed. It was a really weird snake, right out from a sci-fi movie.

The snake was completely transluscent, like glass, and it was filled with darkness and stars moved about it's shape. It scared the hell out of me...

My teacher assigned us to write a poem about someone we know well and we have to describe what they look like and their qualities. So I chose to do mine on Marijuana in the form of a person. Here's what i got so far so you can see the ryme scheme:

There is a woman, dressed in green and brown
When she is around, noone wears a frown
Her head is covered with little red hairs
Sometimes its purple, but noone really cares

If any of you can give me some more couplets, I'd really apprieciate it. It has to be about a person though, so make it something that would describe a person, but still describe weed too.

I had a crazy dream i dont know how to interpret..can you help?

Ive been dealing with alot of depression in my life the last couple of months..i havnt been happy at all..ive been fighting to get an ex girlfriend back for 6 weeks....anyway i had this dream where i was in prison..and i escaped with another person..we where on the run for days..than we ended up at a house and everybody was doing drugs..the other guy did them but i dont htink i did...than an authority figure was present and we where running from him...as we where running we came to a fence the other guy jumped the fence..it was actually the prison fence...he jumped back into prison...i didnt jump the fence...there was police all around me within inches but they couldnt see me..i didnt get caught..than i woke up...do you think this means anything...im 25 years old..i dont have the greatest past but im trying to become a good person...and ive been really finding out who i am the last couple of months..

I had a huge fight with my boyfriend at 6 in the morning and then went back to bed. Here is the dream I subsequently had.

My boyfriend and I had moved into a really fancy apartment building. I'm talking solid gold escalators fancy. Everything was going well, but I wondered why people used the escalators instead of the elevator. I decided to use the elevator and I found out why. The walls were crumbling and it jerked a lot and often made sudden fatal drops. My boyfriend told me to stop using it and to use the escalators, but my ex-boyfriend from 10 years ago showed up and told me he would fix it.

Other interesting facts: Our apartment itself was beautiful but the closets were filled with junk. Also, my boyfriend bought me a little puppy, but we accidentally left it in the car. When I remembered, he told me to just leave the dog in there overnight. I said, but it will get scared and pee all over. He said, yeah so?

One tooth was loose for awhile and when it fell out, it was as large as two teeth, but then it became black and turned into something else(I'm not sure what but it wasn't a rotted tooth).

Then I open my mouth and looked to the back of it, and just picked up the final tooth in my mouth and took it out.

This is truly not a trolling question...it was inspired by the question posted by the Editor of Singapore Weekly Women's magazine....

Why in our world that is striving for equality for women, do we still have women's business magazines? Why can't it just be a business magazine...addressing issues in business, rather than women's issues in business? And why do we have awards for the Business Woman of the Year? Why can't there just be a Business Person of the Year?

No matter how far women have come in the business world, there still seems to be a distinction between men and women when it comes to accolades.

I realize this opens the doors to all who would suggest that the feminist movement is hypocritical, and not really seeking true equality at all...but I am sincerely interested as to why we still have these distinctions...

Why am I dreaming of people I don't know or see anymore, me levitating, and just recently, a mushroom cloud after a nuclear blast?

What to make it even more strange is that people actually visited ground zero. After filling it with water, people start sitting in the water, waist high, and then start sinking into the lake's mud walls..

Hey, I've had a dream that just comes back every so often. I've lost count on it, but it's been around maybe 4-5 times.

It's where I'm in a hotel (I think) and I'm constantly going up on the elavator, and then down. But the thing is, sometimes the elavator breaks, so when it goes down, it stops a little higher, and you have to jump. Before when I had this dream, it would never stop ground level with the floor.

Before, the elevator used to just go down, and I'd feel that turn in my stomach, wake up, go back to bed, and feel it again.
There are other people in my dream, but none that I know. What could something like this mean?

last night I dreamed that my 4 year old Grand daughter was belleding from her navel, really heavy bleeding and then in the same dream my 25 year old son was beeling from his Navel also.. it was really horrible.. I remember in my dream they ended up in the Hospital... I have read other dream interpretations bleeding in a dream or some one else bleeding in a dream can happen beofre a woman starts her mensis.. well that would not be so with me, due to the fact I no longer have one.
