I'd say that is a person with a lot of talent & potential, but one that is unlikely to be successful due to lack of training & study. The fact that they are physically fit does indicate some dedication to some degree of training, but that is a small part of developing one's talents. Often a person with little or no talent can exceed the ability of one with great talent when properly trained. Good study habits can often allow those with little talent in a field to out perform those with a high degree of natural talent. As Alexander the Great said, "Even a fool learns from his mistakes, a wise man learns from the mistakes of others."
