Hey, I've had a dream that just comes back every so often. I've lost count on it, but it's been around maybe 4-5 times.
It's where I'm in a hotel (I think) and I'm constantly going up on the elavator, and then down. But the thing is, sometimes the elavator breaks, so when it goes down, it stops a little higher, and you have to jump. Before when I had this dream, it would never stop ground level with the floor.
Before, the elevator used to just go down, and I'd feel that turn in my stomach, wake up, go back to bed, and feel it again.
There are other people in my dream, but none that I know. What could something like this mean?

hmmmm.....not sure.....could be maybe that you are reviewing different levels of your subconscious, different states of mind, maybe the point where you stop short of your destination is an issue you are reluctant to look at....

I think you're a young person. Your body is growing and your mind is filled with all of the prospects of the near and distant future. The going up are those positive anticipactions that flood your waking mind all day long. The going down and stopping short are those daily small embarrassments that come from the simple mistakes that come with still being young and not more knowledgeable. The people in the elevator I imagine would be your good friends who are going through the same experiences with you and possibly a family member or two that you share your close feelings with. Here's a quote from America top 40 when I was growing up, "Keep your feet on the ground, while reaching for the stars" I hope you're a great success!

Going up and down in an elevator means up and down in your career/life status. Notice you never hit the bottom when it is going down which is a good thing. Getting off would then mean finding a place to get settled before making another major carrer or life mood
