Countries that use european dollars are still using their own currencies? Like Germany is still using both European dollars and German marks?

it's called Euro and no, they use only Euros, old money aren't used anymore.
some countries like the UK continue to use their currency

firstly, it's called a "euro", not an "european dollar".
Secondly...no, they only use euro's.

The German Mark has not been in use for over 5 years now. If you still have some old German marks left somewhere, you can probably still convert them (if they're notes, not coins)
