to stay focused enough to pass the training because my parent is visiting me for the first time in a long while... And then after I quit my training, I felt like as though I have fired myself and have been feeling really negative and depressed about the whole thing to the point that my parent decided to cancel his trip because he was enraged by my abnormal behaviors and reactions that he was afraid that his trip may post a real danger to his health?? How do you explain me wanting to quit the training and feeling that I am not able to stay focused because of the presence of my parent. Because he was saying that I should make some accomodations and sacrifices for him since he came a long way to see me such as having myself sleep on the floor. But, I just felt an inconvenience to have to sleep on the floor and felt uncomfortable about him saying that I have to make some sacrifices and accomodations. But it's not like I don't want to make sacrifices, just that I don't see it that way..

I am part of the current generation. I see everyday at my job how other people close to my age treat elderly people. I am nice to everyone. I don't make them feel bad if they are taking counting out change or do a little small talk. People are always in a hurry and I fear people would knock them out of the way if they could. You see others sighing and getting annoyed. I understand people not wanting to wait forever and people have places to go. But a lot of the time I am just disgusted by people's behavior. And there is self service lines at the grocery store now so those people could go over there if they are in such a hurry that they can't wait a few minutes.

I’m sure there is a lot of debate about this, but when do psychologists believe fetishes begin – are they rooted in early-childhood experiences, or are they just “innate”?

I'm 39. I work, sleep and watch TV. I sit here racking my brain trying to think of somewhere to go or something to do but just can't come up with anything worth leaving the house for.

Tell me what you do to make life worth living?

All women want to possess a man and not share him. It is a primeval biological need. If this need is not satisfied, she builds a desire to avenge herself.

Hello. I dunno if this is related to being an introvert, but I dislike going outdoors. I do, sometimes, when necessary (like to school or to eat with family), but I prefer to stay in my house, and soooometimes go to a friend's house, but not OUT. I'm quite comfortable with that matter. I'd rather be on my PJ's all day long, talking through the phone or watching TV. (No, I'm not PC addicted or anything, I actually have really high grades in my school).
Problem is that one sometimes feels kind of trapped or enclosed due to that, and I don't know how to solve this problem without going out... But it's so hard... So it's kind of being stuck in a limbo where you don't know what to do.
Any suggestions?

If mean people are made by their circumstances and aren't born that way, why do we always blame them for it instead of pitying them? Are humans naturally kind, or can you be born cruel down to the bone?

I'm really silly, a bit of a cynic, and talk to nearly everyone ,however, I'm not attracted to people who are very outgoing. Would that just make me a spot light hog? I like people who can even out my temperment and calm me down and get me thinking more logically. I'm a spatial thinker and I like people who can respect that ,but provide a solid flat base of knowledge. So if you were shy would you find that intimidating? I've been told that I'm intimidating, overpowering, and exhausting ,but that's just the way I am I guess. I find that I often don't have time for individual attention with people because I'm always handling a thousand projects at once...any cure, antedote, remedy, or whatever you'd call it to my problem?

Or maybe forgive, but NEVER forget. That is mor elike what I do.

I feel like holding grudges punishes me more than it does the person I am actually mad at. So I try to get over things fast, but that doesn't mean I am going tol forget what happened.

Do you think that women should be the ones primarily raising the kids while the father makes the money? I realize I'm posting this in feminist country, but I want your take.

Women have different roles than men. That doesn't make them any less important or more important. Just different. It's just how it is. Women are chosen to give birth and to breast-feed. Men don't have that attachment.

I'm not saying women are not allowed to work. You can do whatever you want. I'm just saying that to have a successful marriage, I think men and women need to stick to the roles that God has made for us (or evolution, if that's what you believe...probably a more preferable choice by the feminists).

What's your take?

I know there are millions of phobias out there, but not every phobia has a phobia name. For example, I am deeply afraid of porta-potties. If anyone has the phobia name for that please let me know. Otherwise list your phobias, even if you can't find the name.

right here goes, i have woke up several times over the years to see white cobwebby images near me, i wake other half in terror and he sees nothing, i can see my bedroom in the dark and the shape moves away after a while.
although last night i woke to see what looked like metal and lights over me, i stayed still terrified and eventually this moved to my light in the ceiling near the window and stayed there for some time, i can see my bedroom and things around me although it is dark but for the light from the street light coming through the blinds but i can still see this weird shape but it is coloured.
now heres the question, am i totally batty to think that this is anything other than just being woke by something and still seeing part of my dream while i am awake, or is it something else-- like --maybe--
ghosts-
or-
aliens.
i dont think i am mad, to be honest i hope it is just the remnants of a dream, but it is bugging me as when i get woke up i am too scared to go back to sleep
