I'm 39. I work, sleep and watch TV. I sit here racking my brain trying to think of somewhere to go or something to do but just can't come up with anything worth leaving the house for.

Tell me what you do to make life worth living?

Sorry to answer a question with another question, but... is there anything you have a real passion for? Is there anything you love to do but haven't in a long time? Your question is full of possibilities. Is there anything you haven't tried that you always wanted to? Why not try and set some of those things up and on your days off do them. I am also in the same boat. I know a lot of things I would enjoy doing, but I live in a very small town in kentucky. Most people who live here knows there isn't much to do. Find some things within your means and when you are off go do them, by yourself or with a friend.
I never lived most of my life. I've been married since 17. I'm tied down with two kids, and I have no license. I know I regret not doing a lot of things. Nows the time to go out and experience your life... if you don't you will wake up one day wondering why your life has passed you by and why you didn't go out and enjoy all the things there are out there.
I know I do.
To answer your question, only you know what kinds of things you would enjoy, and if you don't theres always the oppurtunity to try something new. Always take time out of your life no matter how busy you are.
Carpe Diem - Sieze the day

Sorry I couldn't be of more help, but hey if you find out some interesting idea's feel free to pass them my way :)

Music is a big one for me. Playing, writing. Just me and my piano at midnight is the best feeling. I have kids so that takes up lots of time. Camping is great. Pack up a tent, cooler and a fishing pole and go find a campground with a lake. Take a hike in the woods, very relaxing. Plan a weekend trip somewhere. My husband and I love to go spelunking. It's messy, at times scary but always beautiful and peaceful. Just get out and experiencing the wonders of nature is a blast for me. There is always a beautiful sunrise or sunset somewhere. I know many of the men in my life find some sort of connection with nature. Hunting, boating. Try to remember what you loved doing as a child. I think as children, we knew exactly how to have fun. What was it that you loved to do? Remember that and then go DO it! Hope this helps, good luck :)

There are so many things you can do with your free time. Think about the things that interest you and get a hobby. Read! Books are a great escape. Get a pet & that may inspire you to walk or go to the park daily. They are also great company & a good way to meet other people. Volunteer at a nursing home or childrens organization. Volunteer work can be so rewarding & you can meet really nice, good hearted people doing volunteer work. Do anything, just do something & start living again. You are too young & life is too short to be miserable! Good luck!

To me, life is a mystery puzzle that only you only can solve. I believe that each human has a sacred contract made before birth that they will achieve something. Life is about recalling what that 'something' (some people call it "a calling" and then pursue it.

As an example, a person from young may 'feel' a calling to be doctor in different ways. He or she will tend to naturally look after sick and love biology and human physiology.

No one knows what's your calling. Life is to discover it and then pursue it. Try it.

For starters, the only thing "normal"" is the setting on your washing machine. Sorry had to say it !!! Riding horses is really up there in my book. Or something outside like swimming or festivals. Volunteer to help animals if you like them. It sounds corny but...that can make it so you say .... Did I say I was bored?? Unconditional love is very much worth living for.

If you're ok with what you're doing then don't stop. But if you're bored and looking for some action...go make some friends, invite coworkers to go out, get started in something and that motives you to go out and have fun. FInd a hobby. Don't sit there and think of what to do...JUST DO IT!!!!!!!!

Help others less fortunate than you.

Sounds silly to some but those who have done it knows that it DOES make your life worth living.

It doesn't have to be anything big. Even help to carry an elderly lady groceries to her car can be just as nice.

Be spontaneous.

I have the questionable fortune of being an artist, so I make stuff. Honestly, creating is one of the few things that keeps me alive (that, and the fact that my death would hurt my husband and family). So, that and the aforementioned husband is what keeps me going. (if I were dead I couldn't make things and make the world a prettier place.)
