Social Science - 29 May 2007

Darwin's Theory of Evolution actually says that man and ape evolved from the same ancestor with apes going in one genetic direction and humans going in another genetic direction. Why do people continually say "man evolved from ape"? Even the supposed intellectually superior atheists get this wrong.

I became this teacher's favorite student; she viewed me as a very classy and elegant female. She said that I am a true Southern Belle. She became my favorite teacher. I view her as another mother to me. Well...I graduated on last Tuesday and after graduation I went to her to give her a hug and say goodbye. She told me that she was hoping that she would get to see me before I left. I had told her about my graduation party and personally invited her to it. I gave her every detail about it so she would know where it was going to be held at. She told me that she would probably stop by and congratulate me. The day of my party I was looking for her, but unfortunately, she didn't show up. I'm not upset with her at all. I'm just trying to figure out in my mind the reason why she didn't show up. I'm concernced about her.

So in these past few days, I've been dreaming about multiple guys whom I already know, but in like a sexual fashion, and I've never done this before!
Number one guy: I don't really talk to him thaat much, but I don't know why I dreamt about having sex with him.
Number two guy: He's like my best friend, and I know he has a thing for me, and we've joked around sexually, but last night I dreamt that he started touching me in my way lower stomach area, and I started to feel tingly, and I reach my neck up and kiss him, all happening while he's on top of me. clothes on though.
Number three guy: I used to have a crush on him, but he ended up having a thing for my best friend but apparently told Number two guy that he thought i was attractive. This wasn't as sexual, but basically he had his arms around me, and I was draped around him, and I could feel the sexual tension.. and right before I woke up, I told him not to tell my best friend.

What's wrong with me? I've never done this before

That's right, tell Lindsay why she's so depressed and makes all those bad bad choices. Forget about holding her accountable and tough love....just sympathize with her. Well, he is her paid attorney..but still!

I'm trying to cope with the fact that no matter how good I am at my job I will always be belittled not because of any personality flaw but because of the nature of the people I work with. A culture of backstabbing and condescending attitudes reigns supreme and what makes it even worse is the fact that my job is located in the middle of nowhere and I do not have the option of quitting.

I dated a guy for 7 years. The last 3 he was horrible to me. He hit me and cheated on me and for some reason I have been dreaming about him lately. A LOT. The dream always has the same premise. I think I've hit rock bottom--I've come to the realization that only I can make myself happy--and if that's the case, that's a darn scary thought--I feel like I don't have anyone, my life has no purpose, I'm definitely not needed, and that makes day to day tasks let alone projects an insurmountable Everest--but if I did do my work--what would it matter anyway--just hopping from one boulder to the next--if it's really about the journey rather than the destiny, my life is an dismal failure at this point. My ex bf will not speak to me anymore. We had a big blowout and he was guilty...because I found out some things he never told me. Big things. But time has passed and I called him in tears that we can even remain friends...if he would talk to me. But no respond. What should I do?? I told him I was sorry but he did hurt me very much. Yet, I feel he has written me off for good. And I think he has am influence in his life that maybe making him more against me, because she wants to be with him. Please can someone give me advise. They call virgins asexual, or lesbians or gays.

But think about it, your parents let's say who lived in the "40's to 60's were most likely virgins until they got married. And were they gay or asexual like the virgins of today?

Ok here's my dream: SO I'm in this weird truck and for no apparent reason I drive to Forest Lawn (A ginormous gravesite in Hollywood) and it's nighttime. Night time in Forest Lawn I heard is really freaky. And I saw my name with tomorrow's date on it. Then I turn around and this guy is in my truck with a gun. And he runs me over (Which I believe is where I fall off the bed) And then suddenly I'm in my room but there are no doors or windows but a closet. So I open the closet and see my gravestone with todays date on it but the wrong year...1987. ??? Then the room starts to get dark and I'm in a coffin? THIS DREAM APPEARED TWICE! Well, of course we all know how annoying hiccups are. But I'm proud to say that I've not had more than 2 hiccups before they are gone in the past several years, I would say maybe close to 6 years? I guess it seems to be a simple mind over matter trick for me, but dont know if there is any real science to it. I am simply choosing not to have hiccups, since I am in 100% control of myself. I'm not changing breathing or eating sugar upside down or anything, just using mindpower. If there is anyone else out there that is able to do this, I would be greatly interested in talking with you! Does anyone know if a child's speech ability can demonstrate or hint to a certain intelligence level? My son started talking at 8 months old and now he's 1 and 1/2 years old and he can sing (in verse) all of the baby lullaby's my wife and I sang to him. He can also give directions to the way home from a close point. Just curious as to see if my child shows intellectual promise.

First I'm standing in one sidewalk when I see to kids with rollers or skates running down the opposite sideway by the driveway of some house, so a white car merely hit them but they get up quickly. Behind that car is another car (both sedan) but black, the kids again gets down to the street and I saw the car run over them ! then I run to help and almost step over what seems to be the kidds brain... OMG I can't get rid of that gross image... but what does that means? please psycology and parapsycology answer needed. Thanks.

i was in my school cafetria. and there was a man with leporasy. he was sitting alone and look very sad and looked there was no hope for him. I went up to him and asked if he was okay, then i asked, do you believe in christ. he said, no there is no such thing. then i said i will prove to you. i went to him touched him leporasy skin and asked God and Jesus to help me heal the man from leporasy and his soul. i healed him by touching and pressing the skin (it was painful annd stung) he was better. he then said, i believe. i woke up with a painful feeling in my hands.
