Well, of course we all know how annoying hiccups are. But I'm proud to say that I've not had more than 2 hiccups before they are gone in the past several years, I would say maybe close to 6 years? I guess it seems to be a simple mind over matter trick for me, but dont know if there is any real science to it. I am simply choosing not to have hiccups, since I am in 100% control of myself. I'm not changing breathing or eating sugar upside down or anything, just using mindpower. If there is anyone else out there that is able to do this, I would be greatly interested in talking with you! Is anyone else able to do this?

I do, but apparently not as quickly or efficiently as you.
I know that a hiccup is a reverse flow to the normal rhythm of your esophagus. (Probably caused by something that has upset your stomach.)
I concentrate (meditate) on the proper rhythmic flow by closing my eyes and visualizing it; and the hiccups stop. It usually takes about a minute.

Take a deep breath and carry it as long as you are able to - then enable it out slowly and take yet another deep breath. proceed with this habitual until the hiccups end. Carbon dioxide builds up and that's what stops the hiccups. it could take a jiffy for this to artwork so stick to it.
