My friend holds that if a black man and a white woman (or indeed a white man and a black woman) have a child then that child is black.

This is true, he maintains, even if the child is quite fair in complexion to the extent that you would think it was white if you hadn't seen the parents.

My friend does not profess to be racist and in my judgement is not!

Everytime I yawn tears come out of my eyes, this has always happened for as long as I can remember. I have always considered it normal until I was at a sleep over and my best friend asked if I had been crying? I stated obviously "No, i jsut yawned" and when she continued to gawk at me I probed further "Is this unusual?" She said she knew of no one else who had tears come out when they yawned, and after texting and asking my other friends they have all said it doesn't happen to them. Please give me advice. Thank you.

A couple of my guy friends have huge egos! They talk themselves up so much. I seriously can't stand it. When ever i'm around them they talk about sport or school or ANYTHING that involves themself and how good they are. Even when I know and have seen that they aren't that good.

And to make things even worse, they talk to me behind each others back about how the other talks themselves up.

It drives me insaine! I thought girls were ment to be the bitchy ones!!

What can I do when this happens?

I find it strange when someone complains about me.. being mean or not being open with them or not being very close to them (including family members) I never complain about anyone as long as they live and let me live. Why do people depend on others? I don’t like to depend on anyone. I never like to ask a favor to anyone even if they are very close to me. I feel like dying if I had to ask someone for some help.

Anything wrong with me or is it normal?

For a friend -

Her boyfriend always verbally abuses her when she goofs up and uses bad words like bit ch, s lut, hoe, when she messes up ...

Its a long distance relationship, so when she calls up when he is in a meeting or

when he is with his dad

he ends up ranting these list of words... that now she finds it normal... she cries and then he calls later they talk and murmur words of love and then they make up.

Is this okay for her? BTW, she is a nice indian girl, very sensitive, pretty, earning a hell of a lot of money in fact more than him, she meets all the happening people, very good girl, cooks well, is very homely.. never slept with a soul and always kept herself for one man...

Does she keep taking this boyfriend of hers, verbal abuses?

ive spent my life trying to gain the respect of others and conquer goals, lately after reading astrology i realize that i may have neglected many aspects of life and now everything is falling appart....... is it better to go on where you are comfertable or exsplore the unknown.. either way i have thought about what happens after life for longer than i can remember and see little more point in living... im not depressed at all just uninspired and i know that there is little/noting left that will inspire me...... im not looking for conventional answers if you have nothgin intresting to say dont say anything

I don't get it. Are there hidden rules to understanding each other? Who cares about who wins? Why do women get upset about everything? All I ask for is some understanding, some compassion, some intelligent human interaction?

It's always something sexual, some attraction or something emotionally moving. Is it so difficult to understand of how limited our time is on earth, and how little of meaning we bring as individuals. Where is the root cause for all of this confusion and frustration?

What psychologically; alcohol, drug, spouse abuse, etc., tacitly says that it is okay to vent one's spleen to a retail service clerk about their HORRIBLE shopping experience. How I have mistreated them when bent over to provide the most unique customer service experience. Then, certain customers habitually come back and come back.

I've meet this really nice guy. He is really sweet and kind. I haven't had anyone who listens like him.

My problem is well I noticed on our first official date that one of his hands was kinda shaking a tad. I've really opened up to him but he hasn't shared much with me. Kinda like a brick wall. He says he really likes me but he didn't even walk me to my car at first. Just gave a quick hug and left. We have been hanging out and talking awhile now. He doesn't seem to hang out with anyone. He says his old friends are into drugs or got better jobs out of state and works like 46-63 hours a week. Two jobs, one part time one full time. I try and look him in the eyes for him to kiss me but he either continues watching the movie or when I comb my finger through his hair he just asks if he has something in his hair. Should I just leave this guy? I just don't understand him. Does this guy have issues?

Here is the thing, my gf and I cannot have sex until married. I asked if she was a vrigin. She admitted that she wasn't a virgin but told me she wasn't "like that". Eventually after many months I finally got her to tell me...she was date raped. She says after a month of dating this guy sat on top of her and raped her. She told him no, tried to push him off and didn't take her clothes off. That was her first time. She never went to the police (statistically less than 16% of women do). Says she never saw him again. She admits she liked him and was attracted to him but told him no and tried to push him off.

I suspected this before she ever told me because I sat on top of her once when we first started dating and the way she reacted gave me that feeling in my gut that she had been raped years ago.

Thing is she was raised in a religious home and the only reason her parents found out about it was because they fould some papers for a blood test in her room.
