You're all sitting in the stalls for #1 or #2, so what's the big deal?

Not so much embarrassed as much as the fact that I don't like public restrooms. I don't want to sit on a seat that I don't know who or what has been on it before me.

I don't like pooping in a public bathroom. And I certainly don't like to stay in there a while. But when ya gotta go, ya gotta go. I do my business and get out. Though I have to admit, I do enjoy making the sounds so other people can hear what I'm doing. Seriously.

I'm not really sure whats up with that, other than having other people know that I'm having a bowel movement.I don't really mind too bad if I'm in a multi stall bathroom, but i hate to go in a public bathroom where there is only one toilet and there is potentially some stranger waiting for their turn outside the door.and then when im done they will know who stunk up the bathroom.
but i know just as many men that feel this way about public bathrooms. so it,s not just a girl thing.

i do not think any one can go when they are uncomfortable...i can not go anywhere but my house...i can go when i have friends over, on the phone, etc...but, only in my house.....my SON is the same way...he will leave a friends house to come home and go....now, i also know many women who go anytime anywhere...no toilet, behind a bush...i really do not see this as a gender issue....most of the women i know who won't go in a public toilet also have a hard time going number 1 in a public toilet...all out of embarrassment....who knows why they are embarrassed...i guess that is the point of your question

For a guy its more embarassing because its like hahaha I know you have to poop if your in the stall. But a girl it just might stink, and you would have to walk out like pretending its someone else.

I'm not embarrassed to do #1 or 2 in a public restroom.

I avoid public restrooms all together because I think they are disgusting.

Embarrassed? I don' t know anybody who is embarrassed, but I certainly avoid public bathrooms because they are not clean.

Ummm incase of an embarrassing loud noise.......

Anyway, not long ago I took my young sons into the ladies loos with me because one of them had to do no.2. and the other stalls were full of women.
He was in there, groaning very loudly with the effort and saying "Oh mum, it hurts! This poo is so hard for me to push out!"
And he kept huffing and puffing, groaning and farting until he finished his business. I was caught between mortification and laughter and couldn't wait to get out of there fast enough.

I'm not embarrassed by it in the least. It's a natural function, and that is the designated place to perform the function.

It's silly to feel embarrassed.

Smell, sound, and maybe embarrassment of being looked at?
