...and I'm not yet financially independent so that I could move out or visit a psychiatrist. My parents are convinced that whatever I'm doing (social service) is wrong, that 10 years later I'll be saying "Oh my parents were so right, why didn't I listen to them", that I have no heart, personality or my own wishes, and am being brainwashed by my boyfriend. And the worst thing is that, externally they are influential, which means that there is no one else I can speak to about my daily mental tortures. What should I do?

Seeing as a wife becomes her husbands property when married, should a husband be allowed to insure her along side all of the other objects he owns? No special category, just the usual fire, theft, flood and collison.

That way, when the wife crashes the car with her poor driving, the poor husband can atleast sue the other driver (or her husband, if she's married) with property damage.

I have a pair of blue jays nesting in my back yard. When the robins tried to build a nest in a nearby tree, the blue jays kept destroying the robin's nest. Sad but natural? Or do we hold out hope for a higher consciousness?

i personally don't think that it is true that people have "sex addiction(s)." i think that eventually we may get to the point of putting it out of our heads that anything that is "sexual" (even dancing and mention of bodily parts) is bad because that's the puritan way. the puritans refused to allow their young adult children to dance, and the adults found it disgusting too!

do you believe that sex is TRULY addictive to some people, and if yes, why, what proof can you cite? is there REALLY anything wrong with adults that like to have sex 2-3 times a day? reproduction is what's happening all over the world, all the time. reproduction needs sex. sex and eating are the two major reasons for a massive release of dopamine, the pleasure neurotransmitter, in the brain.

if sex were not governed by a thought that something is "naughty" or pleasurably "dirty" about it, do you think that there'd be so much crude cybersex talks to you by a stranger on your instant messenger?

Some people aren't poor by choice. Unexpected situations in life can cause a person or a family to poverty.

Ok, if humans came from monkeys, why didn't all the monkeys evolve? Do you believe in Evolution? If so, why did you choose to believe in evolution? Why do evolutionists believe that the earth is millions of years old? Is there anyone out there who is both a Christian and an evolutionist? If so, why do you believe what you believe? Don't feel obligated to answer all the questions, just the ones that you want to. If you do answer a question, please explain why you feel that way.

Lately I have been feeling so extremely over whelmed with the future. I'm 14 so I know I have a while to decide what I want to do career wise. But, do I actually have plenty of time to decide? I used to think that I wanted to go into photography or graphic design but I'm now realizing I suck at it. I have no remarkable talents, theres nothing special or unique that I can do. Everyone else seems to have a great talent. I'm mean, not good with people, can't sing, and can't draw. I've always been extremely confident (overly confident) in myself. But, lately I feel like everyone is just so much better then me. And, that I'm just taking up space in the world. I don't even know what I'm actually asking. I think I'm more of venting. But, have any of you felt so talentless and over whelmed with the future at 14? Thanks in advance.
