In a little worse condition than it's in already. We need to depend on each other. We can't just live for ourselves. It would mean constant civil war. I believe selfishness is the major reason for the divorce rate in this country.

If it never gets beyond that, I don't think there can be an effective family unit. Families are all about sharing and looking out for each other.

Struggling, but hopefully the core of the family unit is still in tact, and the examples that have been set will carry on.

Me and You when combined becomes US. That is where the family unit comes in. Me is not exclusive for me alone as this applies to You being not exclusive to you.
