I distrust my former boss to give me a reference. But wouldn't the boss look bad if they did give me a bad reference. This could encompass just a flat, unenthusiastic description of me rather than blantant slander.

What is the protocol? Would bosses who agree to give references always stick to the high road because they would have more to lose (or be questioned for) if they gave a negative reference?

Why I don't think my work was poor, I distrust former bosses' motivations or intentions and don't have that many contacts to provide potential employers. Plus, some employers ask for references only from past supervisors.

i think references are meaningless. there has to be better ways for a company to learn more about you than speak with people you know or people who can lie about you

I often dream of dogs and I dont like the experience, when they are not biting me, they are chasing or trailing me. last night a jet black dog was trailing me I tried to chase it away but it wouldnt go what on earth is going on here? am i possessed or what?

OK we all know there are a lot of women in the dating world who do not have sex, and say they are waiting for marriage. On the other side, there are also a lot of married women who are frigid, who don't enjoy sex and don't like to give in or don't put much effort into it when they do.

Now, the actual figures are nearly impossible to determine, but from what I've seen there are a lot of "goody two shoes" type girls/women out there, much more than guys. In my experiance I would say about 25%-33% of women are this way, and guys it is less than 2% So that leads to a lot of unsatisfied men.

Do you think womens reluctance to have sex is the cause for female prostitution? If the general female populous were more open to sex across the board do you think that would lead to a decline in the number of prostitutes?

He says that they have done so much in history etc. What do you think? Good with money, yes. Only because they have been shunned from every society and civilization in history, and have had to learn how to live on a tight budget. I'm not biased, just what I have been taught in school.

I dreamed that I was in a pool full of friends and I jumped in and my shirt came over my face and I couldn't make it to the top and I started choking on water and I sank to the bottom watching all of my friends having fun and not caring that I was almost dead.

I have a bad habit - when I start to really concentrate on something, i get happy. and when I get happy, I will think - wt, let me get a drink, or let me do something else first.
This breaks the concentration. So my intense concentration can only last for a good one or two minutes.

As such, i can never get things properly done!

Can someone explain why this happens?
It is a reflex action.

Evolution does exist, and to say it does not shows tremendous ignorance to scientific evidence. Not only does it exist, but after a general understanding of genetics and simple reasoning, it's obvious. Not only is it obvious, but evidence in the form of fossils, comparitive anatomy, embriology, etc is overwhelming. It is "only a theory," but so is all of science, and a theory is HEAVILY BACKED explanation that has withstood time. Evolution is FACT among the scientific community, who do a poor job of communicating to the general public.

I have nothing against Christianity. But just because a book says everything was created in six days does not mean it was literally created in six days. And evolution does not oppose religion.

So my questions is why. Why do so many people (more than half of Americans) disagree with evolution, and embrace its pseudoscience alternatives - creationism and Intelligent Design? Are they stupid, or have they been poorly educated about the topic?

It feels like the walls is closing in on i feel like running away to a place where it is only me and no one else
I feel like leaving my bf for no reason at all just to get out of things
Although he is caring and what to help but i cant talk to him, he will just get angry at me this is all due to a checimal deffect on his brain he is getting treatment for it.

I had an abortion about 2weeks ago and there is still allot of things in my past that i havent talked to any one about

I just feel like crying my heart out for no reason

But the reality is that i cant run away from everything, i cant cry

Why is that im feeling this way, what can i do?

I’ll give you a hint. It’s a four letter word that rhymes with chick. The first letter in the word is d and the last letter is k. Don’t you think this would be a more appropriate genre title that ‘action’ film?

Think about it: Most films aimed at young men have the same basic characters. Young twenty-something dudes bonding with other twenty-something dudes, running away from or fighting bad dudes. Young dudes running around bare chested half the time, doing things the young dudes in the audience wish they were doing. Kicking and hitting and biting and fighting, with an audience full of young twenty-something dudes watching them.

If I remember right, when I was in my twenties I was much more interested in seeing young women than I was in watching other young dudes. So what’s going on with these young dudes?

Action Films? Or Surpressed Tendencies Films?

Man I really need to change my attitude towards everything,I be so stressed out about everything. When I try to learn its like my mind goes into a metal block. When I try to look at the world in a different way I get really stressed out and then try to go to sleep so I just don't got to deal with it. I have anxiety sometime when I am around people, but not when I am with my girlfriend she makes me happy for some reason. But sometime I question our relationship then get even more stressed out. I don't want to break up with her because she makes a lot of the bad feeling I get go away when I talk to her or I am around her. I would like to get off my *** and do something but I end up saying why, it ain't going to help. I would like to learn a lot more that i know but when I try I just get mad at myself because of how slow I am, I am REALLY dumb. I can't spell, write, read, do math, read, or even talk that well. I fu(k up my education BIG TIME. I am in the 10th grade now and will be going to the 11th next year. I don't think I have too good of a future because I don't think I could make it through collage like at all. I AM SO SLOW IN THE HEAD. I need a lot of HELP BIG TIME.

Mine seems to have reverted back to adolecense.

He grunts instead of talks, plays games all day (if he gets up), stays up all night, wastes money on crap while ignoring the bills), takes no responsability for anything (am sick of hearing "it wasn't me") I even have to nag him to get a bath.

Worst thing is he's starting to make me sound like my own mother "nag nag nag nag" I hate hearing myself nag but I can't help it. We're like "nag nag nag nag"....... "grunt"....... "nag nag nag nag" ...... "grunt"

At this rate he'll be back in nappies with dummy in mouth before long lol.

Is this a phase? Rebellion against adulthood perhaps? Midlife crisis? Or has he just become a lazy old fart way before his time?

I've struggled with this for a while. My grandmother died (we believe) from emphysema, and I've always wondered if that is considered suicide (albeit, a slow) in God's eyes? Or, what about a woman that dies from anorexia after years of warnings and knowing that she can, and probably will, die from her disorder? I know we're supposed to take care of our bodies (temples), so I wonder if doing things that we KNOW are harmful and potentially fatal can be considered suicide if we die as a direct result of our behavior?

ok so i stepped out onto my front porch and there was a big moccasin in my yard(wtf...i live in the city)and i called and called and called for my mom to come kill it. she never came but somehow it ended up in two pieces. well the head part was just as alive as ever and scooting around lol. well i and some people chased the flaming thing all the way to saudi araibia i think ha. ok so i go in some spa and next to me sits the psycic sylvia browne(wtf). while chatting with her someone comes in and tells me i have to go. then im with my mom and aunt and someone eles in a jewelry store checkin out earings for a while. well we finish there and walk out. we see the stupid snake. it skuttles into i pile of metal scraps but we somehow find it and kill it with a vaccuum cleaner looking thing. ok what on earth was that about?!!!!
