You would think the Republicans would admire President Bill Clinton. On paper, he is the poster boy for everything the Republicans claim to stand for--coming from nothing--far worse poverty than anybody here has ever experienced, I bet, he rose through his own hard work and capability and intelligence. Yet they hate him. And they admire the daddy's boy ne'er do well spoiled little rich boy, GW Bush. They don't just admire him, they worship him. They think Bush speaks for God. Literally. He can do no wrong. Bankrupt the economy, embroil the country in an absolutely pointless and evil war, fine, no problema. So in answer to your question, yes, be the daddy's ne'er do well worthless son--don't bother working hard and accomplishing anything, its worthlessness and emptiness and incompetence that America values most in its leaders.

I think it really depends on the individual.
I have seen kids who are from rich families who understand how lucky they are and appreciate the things they have been given in life. They make full use of their opportunities and try to help others the best they can. On the other end of the spectrum, I have known off disadvantaged children who blame the world for everything and don't even try to better themselves.
Finding happiness and satisfaction and happiness is essentially an individual and personal pursuit.

it all depends on the work habits you learned. If you've had everything given to you, yet learned great work habits, then there should be no difference.
